I guess I have to plan a stakeout in a neighborhood that is over-run with cats right now. Some are owned, some I'm sure aren't. The dilemma and an urgent one, is the very pregnant siamese cat with what sounds like a broken front leg. I trapped a few kittens in this area several years ago, and ran into some real nasty feeders there. They are on a corner, with a nursing home flanking the property, but they don't do a thing about altering the cats they feed!  :mad:They wanted an altercation several years ago, and were close to coming after me with a weapon! So ultimately they have created a public health problem, and have had litter after litter since I last tried to nicely impress on them the importance of ...YADA, YADA, at least people here get my drift! It may get down to involving Animal Control (yeah right...drag Kevin away from the techs at the animal hospital) and or/ the Board of Health. My goal is to get that girl before she gives birth outside. And then the others can be addressed one by one. Kittens all over the place...groan.:(

Hey Dirty Harry,
Go in there with guns blazing asking the old cronies "Do ya feel lucky????"
I'd get her outta there as soon as possible. You KNOW what happens if she gives birth outside. Please, watch your back and stay safe!
Keep us posted.

Well, I finally saw the injured siamese cat, dashing back and forth across a very busy street. Turns out it's a snowshoe siamese TOM cat. Tried to catch him descreetly out of view of psycho family, and couldn't. I gave up after it got so late my eyes were hanging out of my head from being tired. More adventures occured today. I'll post on a new thread with pics. Very very sad kitten. It breaks my heart to know she was no doubt someones turfed out pet. Details later...I'm off to bed.:( Jan

No luck yet with the siamese tom cat...too much going on here to trap. That was a sad evening as Leslie and I found sweet Ashley who didn't survive the night. She's on cat memorial page poor sweetheart so weak she couldn't even raise her head. :( :( :(
