Meet Holly Hoppy!

One of our local pet stores has two big containers full of bunnies for the Easter season .... and I just hate the thoughts of what will become of most of them!!! :( I had bunnies most of my childhood, and they were the sweetest pets! Of course, my father was very adamant about no inside pets, so like my dogs, and cats ... our bunnies had to stay outdoors.

Knowing that I can no longer rescue any cats, I decided to "adopt" one of these bunnies doomed to be Easter gifts. Please meet "Holly Hoppy"! So far she has met Angel, Amber and Tucker. Angel and Amber love her, and Tucker just eyes her from his chair. I'm sure he is afraid of her!!! hehehe

I have had my bunny for 2 years and he was a rescue. He was originally bought for an Easter present for 3 kids, but after only a couple short months they realized they couldn't handle him because he was scratching the kids. The family gave him up and I then came along and got him. He is an awesome Bunny and I love him very much. We have a lot of fun together. :)

Thanks everyone. Yes, my favorite doll motif when I was growing up was Holly Hobbie .... so I thought Holly Hoppy would be appropriate! :D

Oh she's beautiful!

But please, keep her out of the cat food. It is not a good diet for rabbits and can mess up their digestive system, which is fragile.
You might want to go to www.raabit.org and read up on rabbit care....they are the experts on rabbits as pets.

Yes, Daisylover .... I know the cat food is not good..... we have to pick up the dish every time she is out now! Silly bunny goes right for it immediately!!!:rolleyes:

She is eating only a cup of rabbit pellets a day, and lots of fresh Timothy Hay and she loves apples!!! (But don't dare try to hand feed them...... :eek: ) :D
