Congratulations on your "catnapping" success - Kai Lani is gorgeous and deserves to have a loving home!
On our last trip to Kona, we stayed in a beach cottage and had two homeless kitties spend our vacation with us - they were the sweetest cats and it broke my heart to leave them there.
I later contacted Hicat (Hawaii Cat Foundation) and learned a great deal about the feral cat situation the exists on Hawaiian islands. I would never again hesitate to take a homeless kitty back from the islands. There are so many abandoned kitties there because of the climate and the transient nature of the population.
So my hat goes off to you for rescuing Kai Lani and giving him the love and security that he deserves.
