Some of you may remember the story of the cat Bodo who adopted my friend Eckhard and his family last year.
Bodo's story (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34399&highlight=Eckhard+Bodo)
Everything had worked out nicely: Bodo had moved with the family to a new home. She had learnt to use the litterbox and started the general cat business of taking over more and more of the household.
Now this year at the age of 17 they noticed that she had a swollen belly. Although Bodo still loved her food and beahved ok they took her to the vet and found out last week that it was FIP:(
Most of you know that this develops very quickly. We have very nice weather here and so Bodo could enjoy the sun for some more days but yesterday she didn't eat anymore and obviously was not feeling well, so she was PTS.
I am sure at Rainbow Bridge Bodo will not wait for her former irresponsible owner but for her new family.
