Cassy girl, you look just like my first cat Grisette, a feral born lady with the noble colours of the Russian Blues.

I can understand that after her beloved cat passed away, your owner didn't want to decide to quickly about a successor but we all know that there will be a kitty who on soft paws will walk into the life of a catlover again. And you also wrapped her bf around your cute blue paw:)

We all can relate to your mom's reluctance to open her heart up to another furkid so soon after the passing of her beloved kitty. But being the kind and caring person that she is, she has a lot of love to share and happily, you were welcomed into her life with open arms! What a terrific team you two make! (I should say trio now, shouldn't I?:)) It's heartwarming to know that such a deserving kitty has been blessed with such a loving forever family! And your people are equally blessed to have such a loving kitty to brighten their days. I'm so glad to read your thyroid condition is being successfully treated Cassie. What a brave kitty you are. I'm sure it's no fun having to take medication daily. But, your mom and dad want you around for a long, long time so keep up the good work!

Dearest Cassy, your story and picture made me smile and remember the day I first met my Genevieve. My cat of 17 years, Emmie Lou, had passed away at Christmastime. I too thought I could never love another. Soon, though, I was reading the want ads in our local Sunday paper, looking for love. I found an ad that read as follows: "Siamese female, spayed, 2-yrs old, perfect pet." No phone number--it just gave the address and time of 2 p.m. My husband and I were at the door at 2:00 p.m. and I met the cat I was to love for the next 11 years. When she died and I was grieving, I knew that only another cat could mend my heart again, so we went looking and found not one but FOUR darlings, each one different, each one unique, and each one I thank God for. I will think of you with happiness that you and your mama have found each other. Little girlcat, remember to take those thyroid pills faithfully, and you will have a long and loving life and give your mama much happiness.

Hello beautiful Cassy! You sure know how to stretch out loooong. My boy Bailey takes a pill every day for his epilepsy. He tries to hide but when I catch him he takes the pill like a good boy. I hope you are a good girl and take your medicine without any fuss. Your mom loves you a whole lot and wants you around for many, many years.
