One of our cats, Jack, is having trouble. He used to urinate everywhere to mark his territory. Now we have to keep him outside because we are afraid he will start doing it again. We think it is because of Cubby, our cat we got about 2 yrs. ago. We think he must be jealous. Any help?:(

The first question is.....Is Jack neutered? Because if he isn't then that is the most important first step.

I think that Jack could be feeling jelious. How are Jack and Cubby getting along?

The weird ting is, they get along fine, but my mom, my sister, and I think he is jealous because of the attention that Cubby gets more often.

 Jack is probably feeling stressed about Cubby, and now that he see's cubby inside the house without him, he probably feels very confused and sad. But I do understand why your making him a outdoor kitty. A house smelling like kitty pee is not pleasent at all.The good news is that I think with a little work and patience you can stop this behavior. One of my cats had this problem .Go to the pet store and look for cat products containing "pheramones" some of them are sprays and others you actually plug into an outlet and they emit the pheramones into the air. The pheramones actually calm your kittys and this often stops spraying (marking terratory) Ask your local pet store which products they reccomend. There is a good one called "Feliway" or somthing like that. There are also other products and methods you can try for spraying. Give Jack another chance so he can be safe inside with his family. I hope things work out.
