She just came into my lap and I saw her eyes are wet, and some tears are rolling down her cheeks.

I never had cats with eye problems so far, so I hope she won't get sick!

Poor girl, she's been through so much lately!

In my experiences with Skinny (his tears are clear) our vet said it's sometimes related to stress. He did it big time in vets office. Everyone once in awhile when they play to hard he tears.

I hope Luna is not getting sick either. With my Tucker she has teary eyes because she actually has two torn tear ducts which make her eyes at time have tears in them.

Kirsten,

I had a cat whose right eye teared all the time. The vet said that lots of times strays have eye problems like that. He said all you can do is use a warm wash cloth to wipe out the goo. She was perfectly healthy otherwise.

I hope Luna is okay. Please keep us posted!

Luna's eyes are back to normal now. No tears anymore.

I have no idea what's been wrong with her, they only time I've seen this before was when she sniffed a banana, and she was obviously allergic to it. So maybe it's been another allergic reaction this morning, I don't know.

I think if she had conjuctivitis, it would have gotten worse meanwhile.

Oh poor Luna! She doesn't need anything else. I hope it has just been a reaction to something harmless.

Jessica, Sam and Daisy send headbumpies!

Thanks! :)

Luna is fine. I still have no idea what made her cry that day, but she didn't have any problems since, so I think it's been just a reaction to something.

It really could have been just be a little allergy issue, Kirsten. I'm glad she is better now. Just last Sunday (a week ago), Helen and I were wandering around in our downtown area, window shopping, and in a used book store, Bentley's, their store cat, Zola, was lying in the window (the store was closed at the time). Her eyes were runny too. Of course, I immediately worried, but knew someone would be there soon to check on her, and hopefully clean out her eyes. She is very well cared for, obviously because she is definitely healthy looking, otherwise, and she's been there for ages!!! :)

My cats don't really get it, but Murphy and Honey, two of our dogs, have had those "weepy" eyes in the past few days. Spring is in the air, and in the eyes!!!! :)
