Me-eow, Harley! What a fantastic story...and your human has won my cat heart. I so love it when KatMa reads me stories about beautiful, older cats who adopt and are adopted by their purr~sons.

An older cat had her/his own charm: one who is wise in how to appreciate a human and who has grown from cute kitten into a majestic feline being. My KatMa loves cats so much that it doesn't matter if a feline is six seconds old or six years old -- she is awed by the charm of every feline.

Mew, mew you are such a beauty. My KatMa is in love with you. We wish you a very, very long life with your purr~son, lots of conversations, petting, love, and enjoyment of each other. You and your human deserve many happy years together.

KittyKisses, nose twinkies, purrs from me, a rescued cat -- and lots of humans kisses from my KatMa.

You are one very special pet, dear Harley and your purr~son is a human I already love. Mew-mew!

Congratulations Harley, you are very special. We especially love to hear about older cats finding furr-ever homes. You obviously showed your new family that older means wiser and that cats are like a fine wine...they only get better with age!
Have a wonderful long life Harley - you can add "Cat of the Day" to your long list of accomplishments.

Hey, Harley...I love Meow cats who talk a lot, like you and like my Julie (Meow!) the Calico Princess. Julie was also a rescue, i.e., not from a shelter but from abandonment in the street when her former humans moved away from the neighborhood. Julie also does that semireflexive meow or murmur when petted while sleeping. She also vocalizes when jumping up on something or sometimes just while walking around. I call it her "music". And as summer approaches with the earlier dawns, she can start jumping on me and awakening me with meows at such ungodly hours as 4 a.m., just like Harley. I keep telling Julie: I love your voice, your meows and especially the fuzzy meows when she purrs...but our house rule is, NO MEOWING IN THE DARK {;-) She's pretty good about it most of the time LOL.

Love from MARTHA and Julie (MEE-OWW!!) the Calico Princess

What a stunning girl you are!
You certainly look happy in your picture. I have a cat, Chester, who is a talker too. He's a black kitty also. He will chatter about anything and everything. You would like him! I hope you get lots of goodies today to help celebrate being our special Cat of the Day today, sweetie!:D

Harley you are simply great. A cat who knows how to pick her humans and tell them where to go next. My Tigris is also getting more talkative with age.

And I love your fluffy hairstyle -medium hair:D that describes it very well.

Have a wonderful life... a long life, telling stories, purring and cuddling:)

Harley you are one awesome and intuitive lady. You just KNEW that this was going to be your new home and you knew it instantly didn't you? Another soul connection here I think. You are also so beautiful and have quite a mysterious air about you. Lovely Harley congratulations!

Beautiful Harley...what a treasure your Mommy found in you:) To think you were once a shelter kitty, for even a day, is heartbreaking. But it didn't take long for you and your soul mate to find one another! What a happy tale! I hung on each and every word as she shared her great love for her best friend. You encompass all those qualities we crave in a kitty Harley...beauty, intelligence, gentleness and devotion. And your Mom sounds pretty special too! How very blessed you two are to have each other!:) I wish for you many, many more happy, love filled years together! Congratulations to our most deserving Cat of the Day, the beautiful Harley. It was an honor to have met you! Hugs and purrrs to you sweetheart from Sandra, Mr. B and Oliver! I hope you're enjoying a very happy day of celebration with your proud family!:)

Hello beautiful Harley. I love your soft fur and your bright shiny green eyes. You look like a kitty who likes to cuddle. I've never heard of a kitty that willingly goes into a carrier - my kitties run and hide when I get the carriers out of the storeroom - but you wanted to go home, didn't you? Your kitty ESP told you that this was the family that would love you forever. I hope you have many more years together.

She's a very lucky kitty, finding a new home as an adult cat. Especially such a good home. It's very touching to hear how she decided the right human had come for her. Good luck.
