Remember Tuscany (white guy with an orange tail) who was my foster?
He had his eye operation to correct a turned under eyelid. At his follow up visit today the vet thinks more could be taken off around the lid and volunteered to do it for free. He does not produce tears in that eye though and that is probably what caused most of the damage. He is most likely partially blind in that eye.
Now on to the prayer request. Deb (the other foster mom) knows a vet who is looking to adopt a cat. This vet admits to wanting to adopt a cat that NEEDS her, and Tuscany certainly fits the bill. Everyone at the vet's office is going to e-mail this vet and ask her to concider adopting Tuscany and Deb is going to contact her too.
So all thoughts and prayers that Tuscany's lucky day will be soon!

I can only imagine how happy Tuscany will be to find a furever home. Prayers going out that the vet will adopt him; it sounds like a purrfect fit.

Fingers and paws crossed here - and most definitely prayers on the way. I hope that handsome boy gets that forever home.

This sounds like the purrfect home for Tuscany. I hope the vet will adopt him. Thanks too, to his current vet for offering to perform the further eye surgery he needs.

All paws and fingers are crossed here too. I sure hope that Tuscany will finally find the forever loving home that he deserves and that his second eye operation is a success. Please keep us updated.

I missed this earlier! I fell in love with Tuscany the first time I saw him. I love orange and white kitties! He was beautiful. Prayers are being said that his new loving forever home will be with this vet.
Poor Tuscany...maybe this is the break he so deserves. Keep us posted Jen.
