mother dog is not feeding her pups sometimes

HI I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice, why the mother wants to stop feeding her puppies so soon. I think they are just 4 weeks old.

Seems like mom knows what she's doing. 3 or 4 weeks is when dogs naturally start to wean their pups. Here's an article I found on weaning puppies: http://www.petcaretips.net/weaning_puppies.html

I think i see the natural weaning starting.. I just didn't know they would startweaning so young.

I had one litter of Shelties, a total of three little spoiled ones. Dolly wanted to stop feeding them at 4 weeks. I had fits, but couldn't do anything about it. Turns out she knew best. They were healthy and beautiful. Trust mother nature. If they truly are hungry, you will be able to tell.

Thanks, I understand now . the puppies are definately getting enough to eat they are so chubby. I will post a picture later on.

they are lab mixed and thier are 8 of them...
