And I guess you will have to resort to snail mail and send your photos to someone who will scan and post those furbabies!!!

David, don't let the pressure for pictures break you. When I joined, I had no way to post pictures either. I had to BEG my brother to scan just one of each cat so I could show them off.
AND NOW:
I still do not have a scanner or a digital camera, my computer cannot handle them, but my Dad got a scanner so I am free to use it at my will.
You too will find the needed help, and we will just have to patiently wait. :)

Wow David...Nikki could be a twin of the pregnant girl I picked up a few days ago! Cute stuff, and glad to hear they're getting along well. Give yourself a pat on the back (and one for each girl) for a well done introduction. :D :D :D

Before I adopted her (or did she adopt me?) she had an abusive owner and in foster care for 9 mo. She was in 3 homes in 1 year! She is in her FOREVER HOME now.

David, You have a pair of very lucky girls! Nothing makes my blood boil faster than hearing about animal abuse, but the happy ending is what counts most. So glad you adopted adults as opposed to kittens which everyone seems to want. I'm really dreading kitten season, but have to count my blessings that over the last six months I rescued and adopted out so many cats I can't count. A few more, and I'll be more prepared for the kitten onslaught! The big problem shelters have is when there's kittens available they get adopted, and the cats sit there...and then comes summer time and no one seems to get adopted kittens included.   Give Nikki & Daisy noserubs from my flock of many! :)

When my RB kitty Thai passed away, I decided to go to my local Petco on adoption day. There they had Nikki. they said that she was scared of people, but as soon as I held her, she immediately relaxed. That was It! Now I am a volunteer with Cat Sense, the local rescue org.

That kind of cat was the kind that I wanted. One with a not so good past. Nikki filled the bill!

Boy David, I can hitch you up with plenty more sweet street cats! (Just kidding) :D but there's never any shortage of cats needing homes as you said. And they're so much better in pairs or multiples like I have. I have a big weak spot for special needs cats, and have quite a few I rescued from the streets. I have seven stories written up at this website [email protected]/chkittyclub/members/htm There's two sections one for "cerebellar hypoplasia kitties", and then another link at the top called "jump to cats with other disabilities" and I have several of my very special kitties there too. I haven't written about my special boy Gabriel yet. Poor dear was born with no hind feet but gets around remarkably well with what he has. :) Jan

I just wish that they ALL get FOREVER HOMES!!
