I just re-tryed the link and it came up fine. I'm not too 'puter savvy so haven't a clue how to send the story from the news site to here. Maybe someone can clue me in?

It came up this time. I have been reading about this witch for a week or so on my yahoo groups....EVIL is the only word clean enough for this group to describe her. I hope they prosecute this woman to the fullest extent of the law. No punishment is enough for what she was doing. Too bad we can't do that to her and let her live in that filth and turn her into a breeding machine...unfortunately, she would stop breeding when she went through menopause...these poor babies breed until they die.

That's the life of a puppy mill dog. I wonder how involved Hearts United in Nebraska will be with this one. I wondered about that with the raid in IL too.

Yes I have been following this on the news. It is truly awful. I noticed one night they were showing ultra sounds of some of these poor little females. It is a crime to see so many used just to turn a profit.

I hope she never gets to own another dog again. She don't deserve to.

The story said her four human children were also taken away from her. I shudder to think of children growing up in that environment, and hope they will have intensive therapy and counseling to deal with that.

The poor dogs! I hope the woman is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and that she is prohibited from ever owning any animal again.

Seems like I heard them say that one of the children was a special needs child. She was wanting to get her children back. I don't know, I seem to mix up stuff I hear with other stories.

She will probably end up getting her children back. I have seen so many children here that are so mistreated and then end up going back to the home they were mistreated in. All they do is make the parent take a parenting class and then they get them back unless they just don't want them. Then they foster the children out, and try to adopt them out to somebody.

Strange laws, they think the child needs to be with its biological parents, and don't look at what may happen to the child.

What a horrible witch! But you know what she really is. The poor dogs and kids. She needs to be sterilzed and never to be around/have kids/animals ever again. I'd love to give her her own private hell. Her address is listed in the article. We could barrage her with letters.

Val sweetie, you are indeed a wonder lady! That would be a great idea! Maybe find a way to get some notice to the justice system here in TN. I just don't know, its crooked here in the state of Tn a lot of times. Really hard to get anything done. The channel 4 news does have a department where you can get them to investigate further. They might listen to alot of voices coming from all over the states, who knows.

Kim would probably know more about this than I do! We should point her in that direction. She is truly good at this stuff.

The sad thing is that probably all the puppies were destined for petstores that buy from these puppy mill creeps! If only people were more educated about where that cute fluffy puppy in the petstore window REALLY came from, the world would be a better place. Not to mention the inevitable health problems they'll be facing in the future costing $$$$ in vet bills. GRRRR:mad:

Does anyone know how she got her hands on hormone pills and viagra? Both (obviously) are prescription medications. If she attained it illegally- that's other charges. If a doctor gave her scripts illegally- s/he should be in trouble- any of that in the local news? (asking TN's on thread!)

The thing about going to a doctor is anybody can get these 'kind' of pills easily. If they can get pain pills, which are handed out here in the state of TN. like candy, they can get their hands on anything. There are drug dealers out there that will sell you any kind of pill you want.

I am sure that is true in every state. Drug dealers on every corner! Even in small towns like I live in. It is unreal.

Of course there are doctors that will give out drugs of any kind. Everybody knows that. You just have to find the right one.

How horrible!

I hadn't heard about this here in East TN but we have our own animal abuse case going on. Some lady and her daughter had 47 dog and 22 cats that were confiscated by animal control and all had to be put down due to their state of health. From the video on the news tonight it looked like all the dogs were raw and hairless from mange. These people looked like they couldn't afford to take care of themselves let alone an animal. So sad.:(

Tennesse does have its share of horror stories, don't it jazzcat, like in Nashvile, I heard yesterday that a police officer drew on a Rottweiler and shot it because she thought she was in danger. Dern I can't remember its name. Anyway the neighbors all said this dog would not hurt anybody! She was just as tame as my Dana. The good news the dog lived and was back to walking around like nothing happened.

There was something on there about a cat tonight, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was about! I wish I could remember, it was interesting and sad too. Though I don't think the cat died.

Whew! like I said stay young and don't get old. Its hazardous to your health and your mentalitiy!

It's sad but that does seem true. I think TN's mentality on animals is still in the dark ages.

Back last fall it was discovered that the lady who was running the animal shelter in the county next to us was hording animals at one of her properties. They found dogs and cats tied up in storage sheds and in small pet carriers in horrible conditions. The rescue group where I adopted Jazz and Scout helped out and I went down to play with some of the cats. They were so dirty and pitiful. There were two munchkin cats that were so pitiful. They apparently had been left in a carrier together for a very long time and were waist high in feces and urine. They had thick longer fur and it took many baths to get them clean but their white belly fur stayed stained.
