Hmm, I've never thought of that before, I don't know the answer. I hope its not something bad:(They change the pets often though...because before I went to a pet store and saw some cats, and it was about a week later, at the same pet store that all the cats were different.
I don't know...maybe they just move them to another store?

Hopefully turned over to a shelter.

But the most important thing is that petshop (hopefully) will not stock kittens again, if the first set did not sell.

I'm not sure what happens with petstore kittens, but have heard of kitten mills. Most of us by now have heard of puppy mills, but most haven't heard of kitten mills. The queens go through about the same thing dogs do, crammed into cages pregnant constantly on the cheapest quality food until they can't breed anymore. Then they are disposed of in whichever way the breeders see fit. I sure hope people continue to be educated about petstore animals and choose a shelter pet instead. Supply and demand are what keep these pup/kitten millers in business. *SIGH* :(
