The prisons are full of heterosexuals. Heterosexuals commit the majority of rapes and murders. Heterosexuals hold majority ownership in the vast majority of businesses in the pornography trade, as well as in businesses such as firearms, tobacco and sanitation -- all industries wracked with scandal. Do we want these people marrying and procreating? Anna Nicole Smith is a heterosexual, as is Wayne Newton. The idea of people like this being involved in state-sanctioned fornication is simply unamerican, and it is time we all got involved.
In fact, let's pass a constitutional ban on all marriage of any kind.
100% of spouse abuse occurs within the institution of marriage. By eliminating marriage altogether, we eliminate the problem. The divorce rate will plummet, and this will put an end to the unfortunate phenomenon of being left at the alter. No longer will the IRS have to worry about a "marriage penalty." Laws against polygamy will be fully complied with. No one will break their vows.
This world would be a more moral, upright place by eliminating marriage, or at least keeping the world safe from legal unions between (shudder) heterosexuals.
