I don't see it much either.
I mean, there is a little resemblence, but I don't think it is purely Chinook. :)

Aww, he's cute! ^_^ Probably not a chinook though, shep/lab mixes look like chinooks (and dingos, and carolina dogs...). But you never know! :)
