:D

This is my mothers male breeder tiel Pickles. Hopefully they will send me a pic of their female (a pied, white face I think) soon as well. I am going to California soon so I will be able to take tons more pics with my good camera, but for now, enjoy this pic. :D

Remember, I told you I gew up with like 200 cockatiels and we used to breed them? :p ;)

We took a break but now we are starting up again, or well, my mother is. So yes, she is planning on breeding this pair. We should get some beautiful babies! So far though, nothing has happened yet. So this is very exciting for me. I will be bringing home my own babies sometime next month to hand raise, and then we are going to do a trade. We my mother will have one of my babies and I will have one of hers. I too, plan on breeding my pair once they are older, but my mom will have babies a lot sooner than I will. :)

That picture was taken by my sister with her camera phone, which is why the quality isn't too great. But I am going down there in two weeks hopefully so I can take some really good pics. What's funny is that I never knew the males name until now, and it's Pickles, which is my hamsters name! :D

What was it like growing up with 200 cockatiels? I think I would get a heart attack with all that noise!!! LOL!! That would be Popcorn and Muffin multiplied by 100!

I can't wait till you get tiels, and would love to see more pics of your mom's. When are you going to California?

I'll be going in the beginning of March! :D There is an exotic animal expo at the end of this month and I may pick myself up a pair of Rosey Bourkes, since I really do miss my other ones.

Did I tell you my moms parrotlet died?

As far as growing up with that many birds, it was both emberassing (won't go into more detail lol) and fun. I love raising the babies! :D That was my favorite part. But yes it was noisy. Not that bad, but the boys really get to talking to their mirrors. lol Silly birds. :p
