One of my cat's is so scared to come out from down stairs. It is because he does not like big men. And my mom found someone and the cat does not like him. He is so scared of him.:( And I miss him in the house.:(

Hmmm... I am in a similar situation. Mabe u shuld try 2 get ure kitty used to the man. Maybe dat will help. :)

I always trusted my cats instincts...If they didn't like somebody, usually they had a reason and that person was not invited back to my house... I would be weary of the people your cat don't like..

Cats can sense when people don't like them. It could possibly be that your cat was abused in his past by a man and that's why he's scared.

My dog was the same way...she was abused by men and now has a real issue with them *still after about a year of me working with her* Animals are good people judgers *better than some people :-)* so I'd see what could possibly be setting the cat off other than the fact that the newcommer is a guy. Ask your mom!
