Hot towels help revive cat found frozen to ground

A cat found frozen to the ground is looking for a new home after being saved by workers at a US animal shelter.

Staff at the centre in Duluth, Minnesota, have nicknamed the four-year-old grey tomcat Frosty.

Frosty was found frozen to the ground earlier this month on a night when temperatures reached minus 20.

Workers wrapped him in hot towels straight out of the tumble dryer every two hours in a bid to thaw him out.

Kelly Johnson told the Pioneer Press: "For about three days, he did not move."

Eventually Frosty regained his strength and has now been put up for adoption.

Oh Bless those workers for saving this precious cat.
I hope and pray that he is adopted into a good, loving forever home.
