Gigi in her new harness

Today I have received Gigi's new custom order harness. :D So I thought I would take some pictures. We practiced loose leash walking in the hallway (cuz the little princess refused to walk outside in the cold) plus it's safer to walk indoor).

She learned how to jump on the futon now. :o So she loves showing me HOW she does that.

Oh Jennifer! She gets cuter every day! I love her new harness. Does she like it? I like the little "puppy lifter" handle on the back. :) If I see another dog coming when we're walking I pick Chester up by his harness, too.

Thank you everyone.:D This is Gigi's first time wearing this new harness. It's much easier to put on than her regular one which has to go through her head, then I have to pull her front leg through the hoop. This new one I just need to velco around the neck and her tummy and it's done. :D I like it. She is ok with it so far. Though she tries to bite it when I took it off.:o

doxidelight.com, you gave them your the measurement and they will custom made it for you and you can choose the fabric too. :) It's a bit expensive, but well worth it, I think.

Does she look bigger? I think she did get longer. She will go to the vet tomorrow to get more shot. I will post her weight then...probably 20lb...hahaha...just kidding

These are custom-made order. You gave them Duke's measurement and I think they can make one for you. We went to PetsMart yesterday and she got quite a bit of compliments. :)

And the website is doxidelight.com, you can even choose the fabric design too! How cool is that!!!

Ok, just dropped off Gigi at the vet. She is 6.9lb now. She is a tank! haha...

Gigi is 4 months... and she is SUPPOSED to be a tiny. Well... I guess maybe not???:o :o Gigi is in rainbow color...haha... She has parts that are pure black and pure tan, but her body is a mixture of black and red. The breeder said she is a red. So she is a fat red. ;)

Gigi looks like wildboar, that's what the color/pattern is called. She looks kinda black and tan but not. Most of the time breeders mistake the color b/c some think a red with even the slightest black on it is wildboar, which it's not. Gigi looks to me to have that blackish look all over, you know? I'll have to link you some pics of true wildboar doxies so you can see, you may be able to tell better since you have her right there, hehe! Sorry I am just fasinated by dachshunds and their colors/patterns...hehe She probably will be small. Definatley mini not standard. Such a cute girl you have there!!! :D

Oh and I found a link for you to check out, now, I personally don't like this breeder but she does know the colors pretty well.
