Mommy and the Boys

I was spending a relaxing evening at home this weekend doing my favorite craft (cross stitching) when "the boys" decided to spend the evening with me. Smokey and Abner stayed with me like in those positions for almost 2 hours. Needless to say, not much stitching was done during that time.....but that's OK with me....I would rather have my boys with me like they were. I have to say they sure do give off some HEAT!!!!

I am sure they would have helped cross stitching as well! I loved stitching even when I was a teenager. Now I prefer to ruin my eyes in front of a computer;)

That cross stitch on your lap looks like it could be a Teresa Wentzler design? I too just love cross stitch. Right now I am working on her Floral Bell Pull. My cats have learned a couple of lessons with cross stitch...don't attack the back and don't walk on it. *L*

What a nice looking sewing circle!

I've always wanted to do a sampler! I have all the fabric, threads, etc and no inspiration has hit me to start!!! BTW: a little brag I couldn't resists: I have all -ALL- of DMC's threads... I won them in a contest! It sure was a pain to roll all of those onto my bobbins to store thought - I had 4 legged help though:)
