I bought a new car! :)

Well, new to me :) It's a red 1992 Toyota Camry, and I just love it! I have a complete history of this vehicle - it is in GREAT shape and VERY low mileage.. I'm so excited! I did take some pictures but I had to use my regular wait-a-long-time camera, so hopefully I will have the pictures developed next week!

I've been thinking about that too. But I can't decide yet if this car is a girl or a boy. I'm hoping to take for a nice long drive on Sunday so hopefully the gender will be more clear to me by then. ;)

My Monte Carlo was a boy car. He was way too big and mean looking to be a girl! His name was... Carl :p I know it's lame but it really suited him.

I'm *leaning slightly* toward girl. This car is just so pretty. I have to drive it on the highway first though to know for sure.

This car smells like new car, even though it's used. I think it might be what the dealership uses to detail the car. However, this car is so immaculate that I wouldn't be suprised if the smell never disappeared.. :eek: :D

Ohhhh congrats! Toyotas are the best! :D We used to have a Corolla..........got it brand new in 87 (I was a little tiny kiddie then) :p, and had it until 99..........so 12 years. It never gave us any problems, even after getting old. We sold it because my dad decided it was too old and wanted a newer car, but it was the first car he ever bought brand new, so he was awfully proud of it! I practically grew up with that car! I love Toyotas..........absolutely *love* them (especially their SUV's).

Two things you should buy when you get a new car......sunglasses and a hammer.....

The sunglasses for style and the hammer to dent the car.....there is nothing more maddening than coming out to your car and noticing a new dent in the body....

Might as well do it yourself-at least you know what happened.;)
