Dear Diary - Babysitting

Dear Diary,

What fun! This weekend, HH and I were asked to babysit Gavin. Although we played the usual games, “butt sniff” for me and “fluff and chase” for HH, we came up with some new ones! I taught him “Simon Says.”

I would sit in the doorway and he had to say the right word to get out.

Then HH and I came up with a form of “Keepaway.” If you look at the first picture closely you see he is on the small step in between the two of us. What a funny look HH had on her face for this game! So Gavin had to decide which of us to try and get passed.

His momma brought him a new sweatshirt and he let us try it on. Looks better on him. HH even let him wear one of her hats with it!

Thank God , our Dad doesnt bring in any Dogs. He says that this is our house , and we rule! But I guess that Gavin cant be all that bad , and we hope that he doesnt eat your food. But I still love you , and it is wonderful to see my Dad , as long as he buys me Temptations. JJJ3 , as always your love!

Gavin, Nicki here. I know I'm risking life and limb talking to you via the cat network, but I must say that I understand completely. Allne and Pouncer rule the roost here. Mommy says I need to stand up to them.. but she never sees how they terrorize me when she's not around! One minute of standing my ground in front of mom would result in a day of misery when she leaves! Gotta go - those darn cats are coming!

Dear Miss E and Handsome Eddie -

I have a problem. I've got the "chase the dog & give her a good slap" part down. However, sometimes when I am sleeping oh-so-cutely in my catcup, I get this in the rear end:
