I was cleaning out the litter box and my hissy boy got in and pottied.. and it smelled bad so i went to scoop it out and it was soft... not turds like the other kitties are potting but not runny like dirreah...
does this mean he may be sick.. his third eyelid is not showing and he looks healthy to me.... I didn't see any worms...
Could it be soft due to stress?????

Kittens can get soft stools really easily. Are you able to get your hands on some Albon? That's what I had the babies on for a week when we first got them eating regular cat food....come to think of it, maybe that's what happening to your kitten?

Worms are common, if not almost innevitable, in kittens, and you cannot always see them.

I have no input as I have never had kitties.
I just wanted send happy thoughts to the poor little wee one, and I hope that it is not anything serious.:)

You might want to try 1 cc of Pepto Bismal. My cat (RB Casey) had terrible diarrhea when he was a kitten and that's what my vet prescribed. It definitely did the trick. You can also try putting some rice in his canned food. That'll help harden up his stools.
Good luck!

When I got my RB C-Fer at 5 weeks old, he had diarrhea. I mixed in Pablum, the rice one, with his kitten food and within a week, he was fine.
Good luck and any chance on seeing more pics of these sweethearts?:D

If you can get some Strongid, give each kitten a little. We dose all our kittens at 6 and 8 weeks routinely. It takes care of all common worms except tapeworm. But if he doesn't respond he should go to the vet.

Sorry no other advice to offer. Looks like you have gotten a lot of good and experienced ideas.
Good Luck with the little one! I'm sure everything is fine.http://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/biggrin.gif

Your kittens most likely have worms ... but light colored, and smelly stools often indicate Coccidia. This is also treated with Albon .... I would check with your vet! ;)
