I was looking up Good Charlotte, a band, and I came across this video. It`s a new song of theirs. (I think) I love this video, it sends out such a strong message. It`s very sad but also VERY true. :(

One of my uncles co-workers son commited suicide and she was the one who found him. it was really sad. My uncle said he didn't know what to say to her when she came back to work.

i know this is kinda off topic but i heard that William Hung (the guy who sang "She Bang" on american Idol) tried to commit suicide. have you guys heard anything about it? i haven't seen anything on the news about it.

My good friend Chris, committed suicide my Soph. year (2000) and I never found out why. I wish I knew. He was one of those people who had a really good sense of humor, he always had a smile on his face.. he always LOVED talking to me in class.. He just turned 16 few days before he did it. I think he may have over-dosed, something casued his heart to stop. His parents found him in his room. His brother really took it HARD.

Suicide is a horrible thing and so many times you hear of it and there was no sign that anything was wrong. :( I have had very little of it hit close to me in my lifetime, but I did have one very close aquaintance that threatened it twice, but never went through with it, thank goodness.

Just this past fall, a member of our church, who we knew very well, committed suicide. He was 43 years old and left two children and his wife behind. We are very close to his family and it has been devastating for them to lose their son, father, brother, etc. There has even been anger at his choosing to end his life when so many people depended on him and loved him.

You just never know. :(

Suicide is a strange thing. I've found most of the people who actually do it would never be the kind of people you would expect.

I've known a few people who have done it...but I really don't want to get into it.

Both my father (1979) and my cousin (1999) commited suicide. Mike's grandmother shot herself in 1981, his grandfather shot himself in 1987. None of them gave any indication.

The kind of people that you have to worry about are the depressed ones that don't talk. The ones that talk about it are at least crying for help.

I think suicide is very selfish. I can sort of sympathize because I know how depression can feel, but still. My dad will have been dead for 25 years this May, and my grandmother still cries herself to sleep at night. The least people can do is leave freaking notes so that the family has a clue.

My mothers brother commited sucide while she and there parents were on a trip. She has NEVER forgoten or gotten over the pain. They were the only 2 children in the family and when he left she felt like he abandonded her and left her by herself and the pain in her face when we talked about how hard it is to not see our loved ones faces (he shot himself in the head and I lost someone very close to me) after they've pasted, just to know that they really HAVE passed on, is the most terrible thing.

Yeah, we've had suicide in our family too...

My Uncle found my Grandfather dead in the garage after poisoning. Shortly after, my Mum found her mother unconscious after her own suicide attempt. My great uncle on the same side shot himself as did my uncle on my dad's side.

I've got a very sad, messed up family on both sides.
