We think we have a home for one of Sada's babies! She works in the kitchen at my school!!! I talk to her everyday, she is such a nice women! She was talking to one of my friends mom's saying she wanted one of the kittens! So all I need to do is talk to her and give her an aplication!

The only thing I'm stumped on, how much is a far price to charge for these kittens??

Congratulations on finding a home for one of Sada's babies. I too unfortunately do not know what a fair price would be for a kitten. I think you are doing a wonderful job with Sada....keep up the wonderful work.

Aspen & Misty,

How about charging them whatever you've spent on vet bills? If there ARE no vet bills, charge them $50. This way you'll know how serious they are about taking care of them. If they can't afford $50, they sure as hell can't afford vet bills for shots and spay/neutering.

Just a suggestion.

Yeah! Wonderful news!!!

I like Moosmom's idea. From what I've seen, $50.00 is relatively cheap to adopt a cat (at least in the Chicago area where it can be as much as $100.00), and that would help offset your vet costs.

My suggestion would be to talk with your vet...or a vet she wishes to use and have her prepay for a spay/neuter. Make it a coupon that either you pay for and she pays you and receives the coupon or have her go to the vet...pay for the spay/neuter and when she brings you the proof she paid you give her the kitten. That way you know it will be altered.

I am no expert on this, but, I have payed 50 dollors for a cat and it wasnt spayed, or even had it shots, I just fell in love with the little thing. If you have had it fixed and its first round of shots I would charge more, here in Kentucky its 100 dollars to adopt. I hope you have some luck with the pricing and its great news you are already finding homes!!!:D :)
