Well, I have been now asked 4 times how Joey is doing. So, I guess I have better give one. Sorry for slacking.:)

Don't get me wrong, I like it when you ask. It is nice to know that she has so many people who care.

Anyway, onto to the update.

Actually since the last time that Joey got sick she has been fine. I think that was last Wednesday. She had her last Pepcid on Thursday. So, it is not the drugs making her feel better. Which I am really happy about.

She has been up and about and eating normally. In other words you would never know anything was wrong. Even the litter box looks normal.

I have almost completely switched her to the new food. In fact tomorrow will be her first time with none of the old I/D food. I just hope it is still going well tomorrow. Just in case you want to know it is a brand called Wellness.

On the vet side of life. I just got a copy of her medical records tonight. The receptionist at the vet is so great. She actually recomended a vet that she really thought was good that used to work there. That vet left about 4 years ago and started her own all cat practice. Depending on what I find out at the other vet I may talk to her too. I will be calling the vet that was recommended to me by Cheshirekatt tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able tp get in to talk to them sometime this week and see what they have to say.

I think that is about it about it. If I missed anybody's question please let me know. I will be happy to answer. Well if nothing else I am at least learning alot. I just wish it wasn't at the expense of my little girl.

Here is a little treat, Joey in a pose that you know her best in:

I'm so glad that Joey is doing better Bryan and I hope and pray with this new food she continues to do so.
Thanks for the update and good luck with the other vet.

Cute picture.
I guess I'll be waiting to hear what the other vet's say. Glad she is OK for now, though.

Purr-ayers that Joey can get over her tummy trouble. Maybe it's a food allergy?

I wanted to say thanks for all of the prayers and good thoughts for Joey. We really appreciate it.:D

I called the vet that I am going to go to for a second opinion. We setup an appionment for me to see the doctor this comming Saturday.

Well after my first contact they get this new vet gets good marks. I really like the the receptionist anyway, she was very nice. After I explained to her what I needed and what my vet thought Joey has. She let me know that her puppy had IBD and that barring any other issues it is almost always treatable. I thought that was really sweet of her to try and reassure me.

Well I think that is about it.:D
