Pictures On Computers

I am just killing time by looking through all of my pictures saved on my computer, deleting bad ones, re-organizing them, etc. I have an insane amount of pictures saved on my computer, and I got to thinking how many pictures do other PTers have on their computers!?

I have all of my pictures in sub folders based on the subject. Here are my folders, and how many pictures are in each folder:

Arabians: 126 pictures
Horse Camp: 54 pictures (would have more, haven't scanned them all yet)
Chicago Trip: 97 pictures (still have 2 more cards to upload..so I will have around 150/200)
Cottage: 157 pictures
Labradors: 135 pictures (all Yellows)
Lord of the Rings: 206 pictures
Outdoor Photography: 159 pictures
Rat Photos: 2,288 pictures...um...I think I love them a little TOO much! Hehehehe.
Sammy/Dudley: 1,194 pictures...um...yeah.....:o...
and I have a couple other folders with pictures...

Grand Total: 5,640 pictures.

And that's just MY pictures...my mom has a boatload too. :rolleyes: And I wonder why our computer is sooo slooooow...I think it's a wee overloaded (it has 2 hard drives). :p Just peeked at mom's picture folder, she has 2,803 pictures. Her music file is insane: 3,854 music files. :eek: :eek:

Wow thats a lot!

I have a program to tell you how much space things are using by blocks..so, here is my C drive. As you can see, like 70% is anime o.O I keep meaning to put it on a DVD but I never get around to it :XAlso, sims takes up a lot so I'm going to delete it -_- Theres a bunch of pics and music too..Anyway, I have folders for horses (inside that, I have a new folder for colors like, bays in one folder, etc LOL) Ones for Josie, zeke, smitten, Kiba etc..I have lots o pics :X

I'll get back to you on this after i finish organizing the photos that i started like months ago.

Just to give you a bit of a hint, everytime I take pictures I take atleast 100+ at a time.
