Argh! I woke up to a house essentially covered in Preacher puke this morning. How is it possible for him to be that sick and not make a sound! I never even heard him get up! I wish he wasn't quite so stoic all the time!
Some of you may remember a few months ago, Preacher had a bout with an unnamed intestional bug of some sort. He was lethargic, vomitted, diaherra, stopped eating and drinking. He suffered from serious dehydration.
Yesterday was his adoption anniversary so he did get a few extra treats. I am praying that this is just because the treats didn't agree with him. He seemed like his normal self yesterday. He's lethargic today, but he is still drinking. His stool appears to be close to normal too. I called my vet who said to just monitor him closely today and make sure he keeps drinking. He's off to the vet the minute his water intake drops off.

Oh no, poor Preacher. My best wishes to you all! I hope he gets better soon and nothing is seriously wrong with him...just a little upset stomach. Please keep us updated, we'll be thinking about him!

Poor Preacher:( Hopefully it's just an upset tummy from having a few too many treats. I'm sorry you're so sick after your special day, sweetheart. Please keep us updated of any change, Glacier. Hugs to you Preacher. I hope you have a better night, sweetheart.

Poor Preacher:(
I hope it's just an upset tummy from his "overindulgence" in celebration yesterday. On Kito's birthday (his is the only one we know for sure), I bought frosty paws for all of the kids. The next day, they all threw up:rolleyes:
Sending good thoughts your way for sweet Preacher--keep us updated!!

I hope Preacher feels better now. That's one thing I learned about Duke's sickness. You have to be really careful of what you feed them. My next dog won't get people food at all. Of course, some are never affected at all. Get well soon, Preacher!

My post must have gotten bumped to the second page....
Preacher is doing much better. Pretty much back to normal. I got him some senior treats as the vet says no more regular food ever for him. Senior formula only!! His old tummy just can't handle the richer stuff anymore.

I am glad he is better. I hate to see such a sweet kitty feel bad ever.

Poor Preacher! An upset tummy is no fun. :(
I'm glad he's feeling better. We won't tell him that he's only getting Senior treats. ;) :)
