I adopted Magneto the same day he arrived at the Humane Society. How lucky was that!?!

The sun, the moon, the stars all aligned perfectly the moment Magneto arrived at the Humane Society! Then you walked in and it was a done deal.

My KatMa says: The most precious gems can be found on the street, at shelters, anywhere... Go figure out how humans can bring precious gems to shelters! But I must say, mew-mew, as an abandoned pussycat left out on the street, a shelter might be nicer then fending for oneself!

What an awesome name for an awesome dog! You are so handsome. I agree with your human, how can anyone give up such a gem?

It's true, the best dogs can be found at the Humane society. I often spend my lunch break at the Humane Society near where I work, visiting all the dogs and cats. I always leave wishing I could bring them all home with me.:( The "excuses" written on the tags outside the cages break my heart. A six year old being given up because no one had "time" for him anymore, others being given up at 3 and 4 because their humans had to move. Another because she was too "hyper", with a footnote that the dog had spent all her time in the garage (you think maybe THAT's why she's a bit hyper?:mad: )

I'm glad you found your forever home, Magneto, you certainly deserve it! Belated congratulations on being Thursdays DOTD!
