I was walking on my breaks today since the weather was so refreshingly cool. These two palm trees looked like they were glittering from the sun this evening. I had to get the pic.

Now I realise there's no way I can compete with K9soul's beautiful snow pics. However, I think these trees are beautiful. They are filled with Spanish Moss and I am calling it Florida icicles.

I tried to get no buildings in the pics whatsoever but it was difficult.

And, here was the sky when I was coming back from lunch a little before 3.

I just love all the tendrils of clouds. Have never seen this before. Today was just an exceptionally beautiful day. Hope you enjoyed.

I remember when I went down to visit my sister in Florida years ago, how much I loved the spanish moss from the trees, and the beautiful beaches there. I took some Spanish moss home with me, and a jar of beach sand :)

The sky shot is really unique looking too. I think those pictures are just beautiful! :)

LOL that was my first thought too! I know it's gotton cold, but not that cold yet. Not that there haven't been times where there has been icicles in Florida.

Your right today was a beautiful day, I was thinking that same thing on the way home, how lucky I am to live here. Wishing I had my camara on me also, the sunset was so pink tonight.

You had me going on that one! I almost called my siste-in-law to see how she's liking the cold! She moved to Florida because she couldn't stand cold at all - even 70 degrees is too cold for her!

Beautiful pictures though! So that is what sunshine looks like!

I enjoyed a lot! :D You're pictures are making me feel warm. :)

At first I thought they were going to be real icicles. I guess parts of Florida north of Tampa have frost on the ground and the plants have a layer of ice on em.

I definately prefer your "icicles" to the ones we get out here. LOL :p Nice pictures, I love palm trees as well, I always thought they were beautiful trees. And that's my first time seeing a Spanish Moss Tree.
