Gigi has a pimple on her eye

Ok, yesterday Gigi went to the vet because she has an allergic reaction to her shot and today we discovered she has some sort of pimple on her right eye. It's not very big, but it's visable.

I don't even know when it started. Any suggestion? I am going to make an appointment to the vet to check out what it is. Argh. I do NOT like surprises.

My pug use to get them all the time when he was a pup. My vet said it was just acne and it would go away and it always did and if it didnt he would give me some antibiodices. what did your vet say it was?

It might be acne or a pimple, or a blocked tear duct.

I've never seen one before, so take my advice with a grain of salt :) but I'd wait a day or two and see if her immune system breaks it down naturally. If it grows, though, I'd pop her back to the vet's.

My Jingles:) (RB) had something similar on the rim of her lower lid. It wasn't pus or fluid filled, but solid and was a bit smaller than Gigi's bump. Her's would have needed to be removed under anesthesia (more of a wart type thing) so as it was not hindering her sight in any way, the vet said to just leave it be. After reading the other comments, it seems what Gigi might have is common in puppies, i.e. acne. I'd probably just have the vet check it out next visit!;) Poor little Gigi sure has had her fair share lately!:( Please give the wee one a hug for me!:)

Ok, back from the vet. She said it's probably the same kind of little pimple or zits on her chin and definitely bring her back if it's bothering her or getting worse. Then we went to PetsMart and bought Peanut flavor bone. haha... So it should be all good.:)
Thanks everyone for their suggestion. And I don't want anything happening to Gigi for at least the next 50 years. ;) :D

Phew, at least it wasn't anything too serious! You youngsters are so prone to those nasty zits!;) Gigi, forget the next 50 years, you should be given a reprieve for the next 100 years!:D And you sure did deserve that peanunt bone, didn't you sweetheart!:) Sandra
