Adobe Photoshop

Yea, I went and bought it today and that has to be the most confusing thing I have ever delt with:confused:

of course I am still just learning considering I just bought it today!

I got it at Wal-Mart for $58:D ....Anyways I just wanted to let everyone know how:confused: I am with it and if anyone has any advice on it my hears or should I say my eyes are opened:p

What version do you have?

It's not as confusing as it looks, it just takes a bit of messing around to figure out what you're doing. ;) Many people here have Photoshop so if you have any questions just ask.

I have version 2.0 I know its not the latest but i'm a beginner so I don't need to the latest:D

The main thing I am having trouble figuring out is the layer part i'm not getting that at all:confused: :o

Ahhhh, no wonder. I was thinking........*How did she get PhotoShop for $58??* :eek:

I have PhotoShop 6.0, and have never used 2.0, so I have no idea how it is or if it is completely different. :confused:

Personally I don't think that it would be to much different besides the fact that yours would be more advanced than mine, I think the layout would probably be tha same, but I wouldn't know since I have 2.0:D

pcb...Did you make your sig? Because I am noticing that some of the things I see on there are some things I have:rolleyes: :confused:

Yes I did make my sig.

Actually I do believe 2.0 would be a lot different..I've used 5.0 and now use 7.0 and they've added a lot of new things. Besides the basics of course, I'd say its a lot different...but I guess it wouldn't hurt to check out that thread PCB posted to see if there is similarities :)

The only think I know for sure about Photoshop, is that the more you train, the more you realize you have to learn. It's one of those softwares that is almost infinitly powerful. The combination of tools is unlimited.
I've been formally trained and have used photoshop since Version 3 came out. I'm now using CS. And I still take a class every year or more often because you can never learn enough about it!

Ha ha! I downloaded the 6.0 30 day trial version so I'll have to go look at that thread and take a crash course so I can make some cool sigs before my 30 days are up. I won't be able to buy it for quite a while so this is my only chance.

My brother loaded it on our family room computer when he re-formatted it a few weeks ago. I haven't tried it out yet, I can do everything I want on PSP.. I'm sure i'll try it one day. :p
