Is anyone psyched about this? I know it's not till the 1st, but I can't wait! Ok, yes I know I suck that I guess so worked up over a show, but it's really the only show I "watch". Anywho, I hope Colby will win. He's awesome :D And I hope Tina goes first for not buying him that motor bike >:[

I can hardly wait. Like I said in another thread....I'm soooo in love with Rupert. He's got many traits that I'm looking for in a man...well, except the lying and backstabbing....but that was just a game he was playing. He's got my vote!!

We've had a whiteboard at work for the last two Survivors, and every week we'd write down our predictions for the person to be voted out each week. Then, as it got closer to the end, we'd nominate our top five, top three and sole survivor. Does anyone want to do that? :)

(BTW, none of us guessed coattail rider, Sandra ;))

I can't wait to see this one either! I hope Rupert wins, IMO he plays the game well and provides for his clan. I was hoping they wouldn't bring back Richard Hatch (or anyone else who had already won), they need to give someone else a chance to win the $$$.

Yeah I think Rupert deserves to win too. But I think Colby deserves it the most :p Because he provided for his tribe, and I believe he won all/almost all of the immunities....yes. Those are my only reasons......-cough cough!-

Why do you all like Rupert so much?
He's a bully who led by fear. He just happened to be able to fish. Getting rid of him was the smartest thing they could do.

He played the game very well and he's got lots of charisma, I think. I didn't get the fact that people feared him, except he was too strong and they feared he would win. Better than wanting someone to win just because their looks.

I agree with their reasoning on who they chose, though. I stayed up long enough to start vcr, then went to bed and watched it this morning. It's going to be good and probably quite dirty before it's all over.

I am wondering if richard hatch doesn't have a lighter. There were several times he said he could start a fire in a few minutes if he wanted and Jeff said to him, 'I suppose your team has fire?' and was surprised when richard said no.
After suffering through all the stuper bowl nonsence, can you believe they are reruning the first episode on Tuesday night? ARRRRRRRGGGGGG!!!

Last night's episode was one of the better "Survivor" shows I have seen.

I was waiting for Probst to let her have it,
like he did with Osten from last year's show...

Would I try to catch a shark?????

If he would have done something like that I would have boycotted the show. Osten left because he's a pussy, she left because her mother was dying from cancer!!!

She KNEW she had to go, and I am so glad she went. Her mother died 8 days later. I was just going to post about this in a new topic but I had to comment on this.

Do you think he should have "let her have it"? If so, that's so wrong! Her mother was DYING! :( :( :( :( In fact, I am still crying over that. It's so sad. Very very sad. :(

I guess catching a shark is a "man thing"??? I like the way he was going on about the shark getting ahold of his arm and he wouldn't let go. Kind of like the fisherman saying the big one got away :D

I was 'waiting' for him to let her 'have it'.......

He looked like he wanted to-
I thought he was going to fix it so she would get updates, a phone call or a way to get news on her mom....
Some way to keep her mind at ease and keep her in the game....as it turns out the right decisions were made...

JP came on a radio show here in L.A. and he made it known that he was pretty pissed at Osten....

JP has 'become the game' as the host and I feel he believes that any slight towards the game is a swipe at him.....

It was all handled well and I was just commenting on the direction JP COULD have gone in...:)

I felt sorry for the shark though and am glad it bit him lol. I would hate to die that way, poor thing.

Why didn't Richard just stand up when he got back close to shore instead of biting the shark? It would have let go when it struggled to breathe?

It was so sad about Jenna's mom. She was on one of the morning talk shows today. Her mom was unresponsive by the time she got there and never came out of it. I think Jenna did the right thing by leaving. She had a valid reason for leaving and was not just wimping out like Osten. He was a big old baby from day one. It was the game that got him down, not a family illness. :)

Yes it was very sad that her mother died just 8 days later. Yes she made the correct decision at the time to leave. I feel bad for her in that respect. However.

She KNEW her mom had cancer and wasn't in the greatest of shape when she agreed to come on the show. Her mother had cancer on the Amazon one that she won and she used that card constantly to gain sympathy from the other players. I happen to agree with Alicia from the show. She had no business agreeing to be there in the first place! She let her greed take over.

I think the "vibes" she was getting was guilt because she knew she shouldn't have gone on the show again. She should have declined and let someone else who could have really put their heart into the game take that spot. I think Jeff handled it well with a certain amount of disappointment but not raking her over the coals.

My mom likes Lex :p He is playing pretty smart, I have nothing against him, he is cool.

I also like Kathy, she's sweet, there are more I like, but can't think right now :p

She is tough and smart and has what it takes to win.
She finished 3rd in the other Survivor show she was on and she really deserved to win that one too.
She sells Real Estate in Burlington, Vermont when she's not off on some island somewhere.
You can even order a Survivor Bear that has her autograph on it.
