They made <gasp> Boudoir shots! Miss Edwina was frantic but laughed as she helped the boys into her gowns. I will not tattle on the rest of the gang... but they know who they are and its up to them to confess to the meowmies!
I am very disappointed in my Pouncer and he will be off catnip for a looong time when he gets home!
OMG!!! Wasn't Lily with him? Or - even worse - was she part of this madness? :D

What a day!!!!!!
I am so glad Pericot was rescued! Thanks Smoke!
I am glad that Tigris could entertain some kitties on the piano. This Burns evening must be a very memorable affair. I am so glad special guest Ally could make it -the cruise would not have been the same without her.
However I am starting to worry that something gets seriously out of hand: Lady Edwina -I always thought you were an arbiter elegantiarum which means that you did not join in childish affairs!!!!
All that jewelry at Tiffany, getting younger girls to overuse their credit cards, the boudoir shots at your cabin?????????
And Cutie-chica: you ask "What am I going to do?" Pay the interests and monthly rates, that's what I say!
Could'nt you please come back to more simple fun like shuffleboarding and a cup of catnip tea?
A worried meowmie!

I am certainly glad Grover didn't take a credit card with her. Maybe I need to ask Smoke to keep an eye on her, you know how she has been trying the bungee jumping, she will probably want to try jumping off the ship too!

I just cant believe the cats went behind my back and got Credit Cards! Then Patches is with the Goverment.... Goodness, they are away for a week and they cause this much trouble, I have Called the CAT1 bank and asked them to cancel the credit card but I dont know Princess' or Tonys code, They are in deep trouble, but atleast I got a castle out of it..... OHH WAIT that castle is owned by Walt Disney, I wonder How Princess Got her Paws in that deal? :p ;)

cutie_chica, I am just hoping that Grover don't follow their example and decide to get a credit card too. I just couldn't afford to pay a big credit card bill!
If Grover does that, I guess when she gets back she is going to have to go job hunting!

Oh my if that isn't just the most precious picture! I bet his little heart is just thumping out of his chest even though he does appear quite calm on the outside. I bet they are so tired after all of the singing and dancing and late night "catnip cocktails." I am afraid that he will not want to come home if it means leaving his precious Nellie. She really is quite a beauty! Thank you for posting this as he has been rather tight-lipped about what he has been doing. Now I know why. http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/smlove2.gif

OMG! Fister, how could you forget to look after little Pericot! You promised!! We’re going to have a word when you get back!! How lucky that someone saw little Pericot fall overboard and that Smoke was near!
While all this happened, rumours have it that Fister was having a good time by the pool in the other end with a few of the boys.

Personally, I think they had a bit too much catnip and drinks yesterday, after their silly game. Who won by the way? The blacks or the orangies?
I know Gavin was dealing – and in style!

After this, I bet they all needed a good nights sleep, they all got up rather late today.
This afternoon, I heard that miss Edwina had invited some of the girls on Champaigne cocktails in her suite – how considerate. :) I think we may get some pictures from this do later. ;)

I just heard from Andy but it was not good news. Trevor was seen at the dessert table, where he promised me he wouldn't go because of his diabetes. Andy quickly borrowed a camera from Fister and snapped this picture. I don't know if he actually ate any cookies and he won't answer my e-mails or take my calls. Pouncer is now very embarassed about last night's escapades. Kirstin, yep, Lily was there, but she was a very good girl and didn't encourage the boys at all. He said he spent themorning in bed nursing a major catnip hangover. He has already sworn off all catnip for the rest of thecruise.
I was glad to hear that he and Lily spent a quiet afternoon watching the other kitties make trouble on deck. He and Lily just sat and quietly sipped iced salmon smoothies. They went to dinner - tonight was chicken lovers night - and were getting ready for tonnight's show, "Fur" which is the feline version of "Hair" I wasn't so sure it was appropriate for such youngsters, but the captain assures me that there is no nudity and it has been updated and tamed for todays' youth.
Pouncer swears that from now on, its only the best behavior or I can send the helicopter in for him and bring him home... which is the LAST thing he wants because he's cherishing every minute of freedom and every moment with his sweetheart! Awwww.

She writes:
Meowmie, look how wonderful this is! Pouncer is such a great arteest, and he has drawn me like Leo diCaprio has drawn Kate Winslet in Titanic! I even wore my "Heart of the Ocean" for this! But he behaved very well and was such a gentleman...
and in fact, I think it's a beautiful picture! Pouncer is really a talented artist, isn't he?

Barbara I am ashamed of myself for thinking the worst. There was an e-mail from Trevor this morning saying that he was selecting some sweets for his honey (Nellie). :) Now he is annoyed with Andy for being such a tattletale. I am trying to mend the rift between the two boys but it is hard to do with just a keyboard. I hope they both settle down a little. Andy said Trevor was "hissing mad" at him.

I got an e-mail from Pichu too today.
"Deer Meowmie,
Thank you for letting me go on this cruise. I am having the fun of my life. Sorry that I couldn't write before, but you know, there are so many things to do, so many kitties to meet, and we've been busy with all kind of activities here. Tigris took me with him almost all the time, but I spent time on my own too. There is a BEAUTIFUL girl kitty here that I like - her name is Tibby and she is wearing beautiful dresses and beautiful jewelry, better than Juni's. She's a little older than me and she doesn't pay attention to me yet, but I am convinced to win her heart. I've been training my "inaccessible spot licking" ability with Juni, so I can prove Tibby I'm the best at it. I attach a picture. I hope to attach a picture of me and Tibby next time.
Gotta go.
I'll let Juni to write about herself
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid102/p6b9054780c5410825855331e5b8e5a7b/f9cadff5.jpg
And this is what Juni wrote
Deer Meowmie,
Do you really believe Pichu? How can anyone have better dresses than me or jewelry? This is what I purchased from Miami. I hope you appreciate my taste. Picture attached.
The trip is great. Filou is a sweetheart. Every kitty is so nice. Every day new activities, new friends. I especially love how Tigris played piano. We should buy one too.
Tomorrow I am planning my belly dance and I hope all the kitties will like it, I've been working hard on it. As for the Indians dance with Pichu, he's too busy admiring Tibby, which I think is really pretty. Can we give Pichu to her? Ask her meowmie. I'm sick of his stories - Tibby this, Tibby that! He didn't compliment any of my dresses, but listen to what he has to say about Tibby's dresses
 .
Meowmie, I have to go.
Juni
NB Did you see Edwina's diamond? Can I buy one like that? Pleeeeease! She told me that diamonds are girl's best friends.

Oh Kirsten, I'm sooo glad Lily emailed you that pic so you heard from her first about this. And I'm glad you're happy with the pic - it is beautiful! Because this is what I found in my email this morning from Peanut. She said she wasn't tattling, but she thought it was soooo adorable how Lily and Pouncer were so much in love and that he wanted to paint her. She (Peanut) wishes somebody would love her enough to want to paint her.
So here's the pic she attached. Evidently Pouncer went through a few false starts before getting Lily in the perfect pose. ;) :D

Oh No! They lost! That means that the Orange Crushers crushed them!:(
Samantha was so upset that Tubby's team was losing that she went to the bar before the tournament was finished.
She only had a drink or two and ran into Nellie who had a plan to fix Andy up on a blind date with Kylie to keep him from bugging her and Trevor and tagging along with them everywhere.
Last I heard they arranged a meeting between Andy and Kylie out on the sundeck with a bottle of sunscreen.
(It seems both kitties are rather fair and would burn easy in the hot sun)
So far so good, they seemed to be hitting it off even though Andy is a bit shy with Kylie.:)

Oh Kirstin, I am not mad at him... just upset that his easel is much nicer than mine! In fact, I am quite proud that he has developed such talent - being with Lily seems to have awakened the true genius within himself!
I havent' heard anything new from him today and I was strating to get worried, but now I see he probably spent the day drawing. If he's a true artist, he probably didn't realize a minute has passed! I only hope Lily doesn't get stiff muscles from sitting and posing for him!
Barbara

Pouncer is a true artist. But what I saw from your sister's bedroom it seems to be hereditary -he got it from his mom. And stiff muscles doesn't seem to be a cat problem ;) (And if -there are still Raoul and Fernando).
I am glad to hear Pichu has fun. I didn't see him in some of the pictures. I think Tigris and he behave better than expected.
Juni and Filou spent this afternoon in the gym chasing each other and climbing all the ropes, walking all the railings. After that they got a little tired and weren't seen anymore in public. Those two can eat from the dessert buffet as much as they want:D

Oh Samantha thank you for this update and bless you and Nellie for trying to help Andy like that! This whole situation with Trevor has him feeling very down since I understand that Trevor has been avoiding him lately, but he'll get over it eventually. I think a date with pretty Kylie would be just what the doctored ordered. Oh and yes sunscreen would be an excellent idea! Gosh so many romances and potential romances onboard that ship! It should be called the Love Boat but I think that name has already been taken. :p

Boomer checked in again, he's such a good boy:) this time he called me on the phone to tell me that he had finally worked up the courage to try to play with the little white rabbit Winter. Winter didn't seem too thrilled to be played with, but Boomer said he would keep trying because he thinks the fluffy white ears are fun to play with. :D
Oh My! I just got an email from Boomer, but I think he might have sent it to the wrong address!
My Dearest JuniRose,
Long have I pined for your lovely silky fur. Your face lights up my nap times and your voice echoes throughout the chasms of my mind day in and day out. I don't know if you could ever except such a plain tabby as myself, but I promise to try my best to deserve you. It would honor me greatly if you would except the bouquet of freshly snipped catnip that I am having sent to you this evening. I would love it if you would accompany me to dinner followed by a promenade out on the deck! I find your beauty to be constant, even when you are sitting in a "mad meatloaf" like Miley sometimes does. Please accept my offer!

Oh, heavens! I'm laughing so hard that I'm crying...
Livvy checked in with me today. Wants me to hire a live in massuesse (sp?) and a sous chef for chicken dishes. She LOVES having a female roomie, would I mind if Peanut comes to live with us. She suggested Cassy goes home with Tubby.
I said that I'd miss Cassy as much as T&P's Meowmy and PawPaw would miss Peanut. I did suggest that she could extend her Valentine's Day outing with Oliver with a Layover in Chicago IF T&P's parents were okay with it. Peanut was suggesting that they meet up with the E's for an educational outing at Chicago's Art Museum. I'm beginning to feel like my fur kids have more of a social life than I do.
Livvy was dropping all sorts of hints about the lovely blue that Cassy's been spending his evenings with! My baby's got a girlfriend?!?!
I need to lie down with an ice bag for my aching head.

Well, you all have just turned this funny thread in to a great little soap opera.
I went out and bought a software program to do the cut and paste photo thing, and have yet been able to perform the steps to get it right. I may have to read the manual!
I just cannot tell you how many "laughing out loud" events I have had while viewing this thread. I have opened it at work a few times (we have a DSL line) and it opens faster and is easier to view there....but I must be oh so careful not to howl with laughter.
Such imaginations. So creative. So gentle.
My girls have not been in touch for the last couple of days. I think they will call when they run out of cyber money!

Oh don't you know that there are boys that succeed to mingle in any girls party? I didn't know however that Cassy was a guy like that.
Filou said that this afternoon they had a promenade on deck, he, Lovable, Ketchum ...... and Miley. She enjoyed being outside with some reliable and quiet gentlemen and she and Filou even walked a short way on the railing as the sea was very calm.
There was a moment when she thought she had seen a bold tabby somewhere but knowing that she was not alone and no Bengal on board helped her to calm down again:) I think it is very good for her to be among friends.

Dear Mummy,
I hosted a lovely champagne cocktail party in my stateroom yesterday. It was so fun. Cassy, who as you know is VERY metrosexual, came too. Tibby, who is a fast learner told us about her research into Harry Winston jeweled trinkets. She understands jewelry is a necessity, not a luxury! We were giggling and having such a girlish good time and then............................Eddie came back from whereever!!! I was sooooo embarrassed! Just look at him!

Peanut sent me another email and pic.
Seems Edwina and her pals had a fashion show of sorts to show off their jewels and to try and educate the general kitty public about the finer points of expensive jewelry. After each one of them paraded across the stage and explained their particular piece and the importance of it, everyone seemed to agree that Mimi was the queen of the show.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid102/pf50fda5a7f04a34a5959e6f2bfdc51c5/f9c740f4.jpg
Maggie (far left) shown here with her very important but quite common kitty tags, was quite agog at all the finery and wanted to tell her mom to Fedex the credit card so she could go shopping and get some finery like the other girls.
Peanut didn't have anything else to say except that she had to run because there were soooo many photo ops and she just had to get out there and get those pics for the album that she wants to put together for everybody at the end of the cruise.
Still no word from Tubby......bet he was out whereever with Eddie and the rest of the boys (since Samantha was enthralled with the jewelry show.) ;)

Lily hopes that she will also be invited to one of Lady Edwina's infamous cocktail parties when she's wearing her new outfit. Mommy of course thinks she's still too young for this kind of party!
Also, somebody should tell her she's overdressed:

Wow, it seems like Tibby is having a wonderful time! I have a feeling that when she gets back I'm going to have to get yet another student loan to pay for all of her new and expensive tastes!
I wonder why Pichu didn't come then. I heard he's following Tibby around
Pichu better be careful! Tibby can be a little heartbreaker, but on the plus side she is single and I think she might be thinking about starting to settle down :)

And the cruise continues!
Cassy is QUITE the ladies man, but *blush* I think his eager attendance at Lady Edwina's party might be due to a bad vocabulary. He seems to think Champagne is the name of an exotic fish, and if there are fish about, Cassy is THERE. He does seem a bit fixated on the food at the party... I wonder if some of the lovelies at the party are the ladies Cass-Wass was dancing the night away with at the disco? Oh, trying to put the pieces of this mystery together from this far away!
Oh, the lovely fur girls a-modeling their jewels! Such a lovely sight!
Lily looks stunning in her gown. Perhaps a bit much for everyday, but can you look at all that beauty and cavil?
Livvy called again today to lobby to extend her vacation to a visit with Peanut in Chicago. They seem to have bonded as thick as thieves! Sigh, my baby girl is developing off on her own.

Lily, you look quite sophisticated in that outfit! You seem to be blossoming right in front of our eyes! Miss Edwina should take notice of you in that outfit!
Pouncer wrote this last night:
Dear mom,
I am having the time of my ife, experiencing so many new things. The credit card still has lots of room, unlike many of the girls - but I'm not going to tell them that because they desperately want more jewels... and now that we've moved into the Cayman Islands, they said they absolutely NEED a coral necklace! Don't they worry about losing all of this? you know I lose my color at least once a day! It must be a girl thing! Talking about girls, I am having the best time with Lily. She makes me laugh and we have so much in common. She appreciates my work and doesn't make fun of it!
Its also nice to be with someone when it seems that almost everyone has paired up too! They had a scavenger hunt in one of the lounges last night that was for couples only. It was sooo much fun! They asked for "portraits of George Washington" so I got out my pencil and started drawing - who knew it was already on the dollar bill? They asked for the first guy on stage wearing his dates shoes - you should have seen all of us stumbling around in heels! The steps just about broke all of our ankles! I don't remember who won because we were all having such a good time that it didn't matter. Thank you moewmie for letting me come here!
I'll be home soon

Debbie, you don’t need to worry about Tubby anymore, he’s with Fister, Pjevs, Rascal, Eddie, Trevor and Tigris. They got SO fed up with the girls’ fashion talk. I loved it, though! :D
Now, they’re planning to take a little break from the cruise. They have been studying maps over the area and found this little island, where they plan to go ashore and do some exploring. They expect most of the boys to come along. I do hope they won’t get it too rough there! I wonder if they got the idea from “Survivors” (have any of your kitties been watching that!) What could happen!! Will they climb trees, and will they be able to get down again?
This is the picture Fister sent me, he says noone lives there.

I agree cutie_chica, I want to know when the Tennesse cats are coming home, I am getting lonely myself! I miss being used as a scratching post! My knees are starting to get well!
Haven't heard a thing from Grover, just seen the pic of her climbing the flag pole. She is just not that interested in jewlery, or fine clothes..She don't even seem to be that interested in boys yet, too busy being a tomboy!!

I got another email from Peanut. Seems she's been quite busy with the camera (much to shy Livvy's chagrin). The first pic she sent were some of the boys out sailing. They rented one-cat sailboats and were having a blast. As you can see by the waves, it was quite windy so they had a good day. Looks like Eddie's having a little rough time of it though. I wish the pic was bigger but Peanut said their support boat didn't want to get too close to the boys in case one lost control and rammed the boat! Oh, she also said that Pouncer really, really, really wanted to join them, but Lily wasn't too happy about it, and Edwina (who has been watching over Lily) put her foot down and told him NO, he's too young and he is NOT going so he can fall overboard, drown and break poor Lily's heart! The final convincing influence though was the look for Daisy (or is it Samantha that has the look that is not to be denied?) After that look, Pouncer meekly went back to Lily and pouted for the rest of the day. Oh, and Tray, Grover wanted to go too, but the look from Daisy (or Samantha) made her re-think also.
So here are some of the more adventurous boys, from left to right, Eddie (hang on!), Andy (he blends in with the white sail so well you can't hardly see him, and who knew he was going to come out of his shell like this!), Fister (who is kinda scared so he closed his eyes), Tubby and Tigris.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid102/p7b25165aecc59a89740f1f4b3e78702a/f9c55bba.jpg
Peanut wrote that they all had a blast, and towards the end they really got the hang of controlling those sails. The biggest motivator being that they all hated it when they tipped over and ended up wet!

I particularly like the next pic she sent. It's a view of the pool from above. Lots of kitties were just hanging out and enjoying the relaxing atmospheres, and it appears the bunnies were enjoying themselves too! She said the doggies were on the other side of the ship taking turns chasing a stick that had been thown overboard. Seems they were all so impressed with Smokemutt that they wanted to be ready in case another rescue was necessary. And with Miley & Filou walking the rails, the likelyhood of another resuce being necessary is quite high!
So I'll show the pic first and then fill you in on a few of the things that Peanut said were going on.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid102/p205b16cded4dfd4ca43b46223fd728c2/f9c55bac.jpg
Ok, first of all (again from the top left so I can keep it straight), Jupiter & Filou were having a little discussion - probably about girls. Then we've got Chuckie, Mini(?) and Freckles going down the water slide with Livvy (see her hat?) and Zam looking on. Zam was trying to get up her nerve to do it too. Then there's Eddie on the lounge chair talking to Maggie (is Eddie maybe ready for a girlfriend?). And then, we've got Leroy and Andy seranading Edwina with Juni Rose looking on. We've also got Logan and Ripley checking out the waterslide. Ripley says well....maybe. Logan says NO WAY! On the lounge chairs we've got Butter & Pichu in front with the girls, Tinky, Mimi, Nellie & Miley in the back. And of course, Winter, Miss Hoppy & Sisi the bunsters watching it all from a safe vantage point. I think I got everybody there.....
Peanut has also asked if Livvy could visit since they have become such close friends, and of course! We'd love to have the lovely Olivia as a guest - anytime! However, I do not like Cassy's idea of trading for Tubby. I rather like my Tubby boy and I would miss him terribly. But he can visit anytime Cassy. ;)
As for the cruise ending, well, Peanut said that Tubby was watching the weather channel and saw how cold and snowy it was in Chicago and he said he didn't care if he ever went home if those were the conditions! (sounds a lot like his daddy  ) However, I did want to remind everyone that there is a helicopter available for any kitties that are homesick and want to leave. There is no extra cost for this since the ship knows that a homesick kitty is nothing to mess with. ;)
Peanut said they were heading to an island, so I can't wait to hear about all the kitty exploits there!
(Note from Peanut's meowmy. Some of you really have to post more pics of your kitties! I wanted to include so many more on the pool pic, but searching for kitty pics takes up a lot of time....and I really need to get some work work done, not to mention school work! Not complaining mind you, just pointing out that we need more kitty pics to work with! If your kitty hasn't been featured lately I'm really sorry but it's because I can't easily find pics of it on PT. I wanted to feature everyone......)

catnapper, it's so sweet to read what Pouncer has said about Lily! :) It's it wonderful that our kitties are having such a great time? :)
I'm really glad that Edwina said "no" to Pouncer's plan! I know that Lily loves adventures, but I'm sure she would have been worried!
Glad that "Lady E" is taking care of Lily and Pouncer, but don't you think there's some "Edwinian influence" in Lily's style lately? ;) Look here:

Miss Hoppy is home now, despite the snow we have here. She had a nice time on the cruise, enjoyed the sunshine and warmth, and she and Winter and Sisi became bunny pals, in the quiet places where the kitties weren't looking. They did make that excursion on to deck (see above), and had a nice time, but they are cautious bunnies, after all. Miss Hoppy said the parsley on board was pretty good, but there is no place like home. and, of course, she'll need to be here while we're away! Dear Debbie,
Thank you for your kind invitation to Livvy, she was thrilled at the chance to continue her friendship with Peanut in Chicago. I told her about the snow -- still she has no concept what it's like. (You may find her welded to the top of your heater, but that might have been the case anyway. She resembles a furry heat-seeking missile sometimes...) I think the suggestion that Cass and Tubby exchange actually started from her; so glad that you are as unimpressed with the suggestion as I.
I'm relieved to see that she is using her sun hat by the pool, I'd hate for her cute little nose to get sunburned in the Carribbean sun.

Juni and Juni Rose had a girl's talk about fashion too. They agree that Lily and Lady Edwina look fabulous but they say a girl has to find her personal style. And the two Junis think that too many pearls and laces prevent a girl from walking on railings and jumping over tables. So they think Grover is purrfectly ok and their kind of girl:D
Juni adds there are enough boys who don't want a doll -like her beau Filou and her brother Pichu who want to have fun with girls:D
Tigris wrote telling how much fun he had sailing: "I never knew why dad and you said it's so much fun but now I know. And it's much easier to catch fish from a sailing boat!"
His words.
Filou enjoyed the pool a lot. He's a water loving kitty anyway.
Filou where do you want to be for your birthday next week?

When Samantha called me this morning she mentioned that she saw a lot of the dogs including Sadie hanging out in the Casino last night.
While she and Tubby and most of the other cats were drawn to the Roulette wheel (something about watching that little ball rolling around seemed to get all the cats excited!);)
it seemed that Eddie was playing cards with the dogs at Gavin's table.
Eddie really seemed intent on beating the house(Gavin) but it was Cinder and Smoke who kept coming up as winners!
Samantha overheard Cinder saying something like "Everything I know about cards I learned from my dad.":)
I have heard that they are trying to start some kitty competitions in order to get them away from the gambling and drinking at the catnip bar. I know there is a *high jumping event* scheduled to be held at some point today. Everyone sort of feels that Miley would be a shoo-in if she could be talked into participating. I am wondering if Sallyanne has heard from her lately. Hopefully my two will not enter as I would hate to see them being the first to have to visit the ship's doctor.

" Dear meowmie,
you can't imagine how much fun we have. I am practising all kinds of games: sailing, shuffleboarding (although the black ones won) and roulette (I like that one a lot).
Filou is running around and flirting with Juni. I think singles have more fun. I always thought dancing was for sissies but now I met some people who have a fantastic dance style. They're called DAWGS!!!! There is one called Sadie. She dances really cool and I am one of her friends. She'll gimme five when we meet:D
I can't believe the barkers from downstairs at home can dance like that.

I received a call from the ship this morning. It seems that Miley has entered the jumping contest. She said she feels confident that she will win. Tigris may just give her some much needed attitude adjustment when the jumping contest begins.
I hope she sends photos.
The rumors have it that JuniRose has been a bit under the weather. I suppose she has had evening after evening of over eating, over drinking and way, way too much playing.
Winter came home early - UPS (United Pet Service) and is sleeping off her excitement overload. She said she had a great time but was not thrilled with all of the loud noises, especially the music at night. She said that Ms. Hoppy had to leave early and thought it would make a good time for her to exit stage left, as well.
So, hopefully, tomorrow Miley will send a photo of the winner of the jumping contest.
I have loved looking at all the photos of the pets ... what a riot!

So he's prancing around ship telling everybody that they didn't name him Pouncer for nothin'! My Mr. Joe Cool

This came today
Dear Meowmie & dadcat
I have had such a wondurrrful time on The GSFP, and Mr Pjevs is such a gentletom, although other ladies might not go for an older tux, I find him ever so wonderful, but alas I could not convince him to come live with us---he is a street cat at heart and I am just too fond of my heat registers, big screen patio window, rationed puss chow and clean water, not to mention the frequently cleaned litter pans. I just don't think my true love for PJ can overcome my distaste of the public "street squat"......alas, we shall always have the ocean!
I do miss my home, as it is where I get undivided attention - there are so many other cats here, meowmie, and I've tried hard to "work the room" to get my twice-daily required tummy rubs, but the ship folk are just so busy attending to the other cats...what's a prima-donna puss to do? There is a leaping contest, but you know me....I only play with things that are brought within my line of swat.....like the Panic Mouse you bought me (and I wish I had brought that with me on the trip)...you know, I love a toy that allows me to lay on my side and just liesurely swat as it flings by...
I am going out for one last fling with my beloved Mr PJ, before he hops aboard a passing fish freighter (seems he is the adventurous type, and this was how he earned his fare aboard the GSFP, and he is now working his way back home). Ahh, sweet Mr PJevs, if only Meowmie would lift the ban on a second cat....but then again....I WOULD have to share my tummy rub time!!

Grover was homesick, so she showed up at the window this morning. I don't really know how she got here, but she was very tired and sleepy.
She said she missed sleeping with her mommy at night, cuddling up to my face and sleeping with her head on my pillow.
But anyway here is a picture I took of her after she arrived this morning.

Oh Grover, you're looking like you really didn't get much sleep while being on the cruise! :)
Kirsten
Oh my! So many homesick kitties and bunnies! My hubby just asked me moments ago how the kitty cruise was going. Honest, he really did! I told him about the high jumping event and that we were waiting for and hoping for pictures (from our computer savvy meomies and daddies). hehe! I don't think we'll see Trevor any time soon, although I imagine that if Kylie goes home Andy will want to leave. I guess he was just too timid to find love on this cruise. I know he had a good time though from what he has said. It was a good experience for him nonetheless. :)

First thing Grover wanted was her blanky as she calls it, I don't know what she was doing that made her so tired and sleepy. Knowing Grover, it had to have something to do with climbing something and jumping off. So maybe some of the pictures that come in will show just exactly what Grover was up to.
She just don't want to tell me herself, so I will just have to wait and see.

lol. tRAYI, WHEN I looked at that picture, the recurring "Titanic" script ran through my head. REmember when Rose was in that rescue boat, wrapped up in that plaid wool blanket? That's what Grover looked like in that picture....and I imagined the dialogue, kitty style:
"We had nothing to do but wait....wait to sleep, wait to eat, wait for a furry mouse that would never come...."

It is because I live with a kittie with some major 'tude too....I think from posts I've read that callie(calico)-tude and tuxie-tude are very similar in nature! :D

Oh poor dear Samantha! That is why I pleaded with Trevor and Andy not to participate. After all they are not as young as they used to be! :p
(I once saw a cartoon in a magazine and it was so cute. There were two cats sitting in the waiting room at the vet's office. Cat #1 (in a cast and wearing a sling) says to Cat #2 "How did you injure yourself?" He replies "jumping from the stove to the top of the refrigerator." Cat #2 (also in a cast) says "I tried to jump from the floor to the top of the high dresser." You had to see the kitties with their slings, etc. having their little chat. Too cute!)

Seems the cruise has brought out so many movie themes...and now it seems Ms Ritz has taken another detour! Posing for a new Sphinx?? Perhaps reliving scenes from "The Mummy"....there was the statue of Anubis, the statue of Horace.....could this be...the statue of Hungrius, the large cat-like creature, guardian of the pharoah's food dish, under which is buried the fabled "Book of Rodentia" said to bring toy mice to life!

I am afraid something is going wrong with this cruise:
first the kitties kept in touch very well with their meowmies but now all the fun and games and partys are more or less held in secret.
If it takes any longer they may find a Carribbean island where they stay without ever coming back. I don't think I could stand that:eek:
On the other hand things may be different: some kitties did not want to admit they are homesick and sneaked away, trying to get on board a ship that cruises the Atlantic ocean and on soft paws surprising their meowmie by jumping on her bed in the middle of the night.:D
Can anybody help me to find the truth about the "Mystery of the Feline Princess"?

Ahhh, Pouncer got in touch this morning. He said that they had a mystery aboard ship and nobody was allowed to use the phone or internet until they solved the crime. He said it was exciting and a lot like those murder TV shows I watch. He and Lily walked around trying to sniff out clues to help the detectives. All is ok and the crime was solved... nobody hurt. Somebody was trying to dissappear from the country and hopped upon the ship - thats all. But it was still very exciting and as cats like mystery, they were in heaven.
Pouncer said that he's really starting to miss home and Allen. He's very depressed at the thought of leaving Lily and all of their new friends, but home sounds really good to him.

Ahh, poor Pouncer is homesick... I'm sure Lily will be very sad when he leaves, but she will eventually understand...
Did Pouncer mention anything that Lily is missing Luna and her meowmie?
BTW, I think it's so sweet that they tried to help investigating. :)

I did hear from Mitzi. It seems Mishi took over the karaoke bar last night and wouldn't let go of the mike! He sang and sang until the wee hours of the morning. He was too hoarse from all his singing to even talk to me! Mitzi wants to come home - she misses her window perch.

Got and email from Lily in which she said she enjoyed Mishi's singing a lot! :)
Also, she made some alarming remark about planning to go fishing in the ship's own aquarium and play her very personal version of "Finding Nemo". NOT GOOD!!!

Pouncer saw this and had the idea that they can go back to re-playing scenes from the Titanic - this time he wants to have the ship go by the Arctic and start scanning for icebergs... I told him NO under any circumstances! I had to remind him about his intense dislike of cold and make him understand that icebergs are ICY.
So now he's content to remain in the warmth of the Carribean and perhaps re-enact scenes from Gone With the Wind - Lily can be his Scarlett, but he says that "Frankly does DOES give a darn." He is so excited about this and can't wait until they dock again to get great southern costumes!
They are hoping that they can get a few of the other cats to play Melanie and Ashley! Who will be Bonnie Blue? This is one happy kitty and it might be a little longer before we see him!

Ok -as you could see from his birthday thread, Filou is home. Juni and he are missing each other.
I am getting filled in with a lot more details. He told me that Catmandu's cats have been on board as stowaways all the time. They didn't want to check in officially because they didn't want to worry their dad but they thought it would be more fun for them when they were not alone.
JJJ has even been seen in a deck chair close to Lady E.:D

We cannot wait for the cats to come home! I am sure the stories and tales or is that tails? will be amusing. I bet JuniRose has more stories than Miley.
By the way, Miley did not win the jumping contest and she would not tell me who did! Just like Miley to say something like that.
I promise to post some photos of the exhausted girls - after they arrive home.

I just now received a call from the airport in Montreal! It seems that their flight landed there due to bad weather in the Burlington area.
I suspect the two girls, Miley and JuniRose will spend the next couple of hours getting their stories to agree so that I will never know what REALLY happened on the cruise.
I have received several phone calls from my credit card company, requesting approval for a expensive, excessive purchases. I approved them but cannot wait to see what they come home with. Jewels? Fur coats?
Later - off to Montreal.
