Heathcliff, I nearly had a heart attack! You look just like my precious Boosie, who was also a tortie-point! In fact, Boosie and you are the only two tortie-points I have ever seen in my life! You're all speckledy just like she was, and it looks like you have the same half-and-half face! Oh, I'm so happy, knowing little Boosie is up there at the rainbow bridge playing with a friend who looks just like her! She liked little mice too, did you like playing with socks, also?
I know your humans miss you badly, but I hope your being named our beautiful Cat of the Day gives them comfort!

Dear Heathcliff...Your mommy speaks so adoringly of you. Oh, so many, many happy years of love you shared. :) While I am so very sorry that she does not have you there to cuddle and love right now, I know the wonderful life you shared together lives on in her heart. I lost my 19 year old kitty this past Christmas. Her name is Lizzie. And I hope that she is there with you at the Rainbow Bridge, along with all the other beautiful Rainbow furkids, playing and frolicking, healthy and whole, waiting until you may all be together again. I thank your family for sharing your beautiful life story with us. You are a truly special, most beautiful Cat of the Day and Cat of a Lifetime. Lots of love to your family who still feels the pain of your loss. I hope their hearts will continue to heal. And that that "kitty shaped" hole in their hearts will soon be filled with nothing but all the happy, loving days you shared. Congratulations to you beautiful, beautiful, Heathcliff, our most deserving, precious Cat of the Day.

To Heathcliff's Mom and Dad: It seems that you were lucky to have such a sweet and long life with your kitty. Its seems that there are many wonderful pets out there - and many need a great family to share their lives.... Each pet has such a different personality and many are simply wonderful to have as a family member. Pets are great for healing holes too! Congratulations, Heathcliff, for being the Cat of the Day.

Heathcliff...just goes to show you that you are forever alive in your owners' hearts and now, our hearts all over the world. You're a human's cat and a cat's cat with just a bit of attitude.
