Oh goodness, Okay, I know I am probably Over reacting on this, but earlier I found a blister on Princess' lip. And I dont know what it is, I am calling the vet first thing in the morning, But what do you think it may be, I am gonna just upload it from my comp. so it wont get anymore fuzzy on imagestation.:confused:

Well, its 6:30 am, vet opens at 8, Princess has bveen up crying all night :( I have stayed up with her, and she is going in as an emergency. I will update you when I get home, Wish me luck PLEASE!!

I don't know if this will help but Pervy gets those when I don't treat for fleas soon enough. I think she reacts badly to even one flea. She chews and grooms so much that she will make a blister on her lower lip. As soon as I pop on the Advantage her blister goes away! It looks exactly like Princess's lip. I don't know if that is what is wrong with Princess but I thought I would let you know that with Pervy it isn't anything horrible.

Poor princess. I have no idea either. :( I'm glad you can take her to the vet so early and hopefully get a treatment for it.

Oh my! That IS a big blister! I will watch the posts to see what the vet says. I hope it is like what Pervy has and nothing more. I would run to the vet quickly too! Hope Princes is fine and Dandy by the time you read this.

Could be Calici virus, which causes blisters on the mouth and tongue. When was her last vaccinations? Not really a big deal, it does go away.

Okay, We went to the vet at 9 am. I was up all night with her, anyway, they took her right in. The vet said that it could just be a kitty version of a pimple or a cold sore. OR it could be a tumor. :( I really hope it isn't. But for right now they gave her a shot with steroids and gave me some antibiotics for her to take for 1 week. And if she doesn't get better, she has to go back for further test. I Pray she gets better!! It was 18 degrees out and the wind chill was 8 when we left she had 2 blankets in her carrier, and one over her carrier, because it was so cold. Well I am logging off now, its med. time for Princess.

Calici virus is what causes the cold sores, and if that's what it is, the antibiotics should work really well. Hope she gets better soon. :)

Thank you guys for posting. Princess has woke up, and is a little sore, she ate some food, got some lovings ( which is odd for her) And layed back down, she hates the meds. but then again, who like them lol :-p. The lip is still red, but I hope it goes down soon!

I also forgot to add Princess got weighed she is 9 Pounds on the nose..... And there is this one cat who runs around at the vet in the back by the scale, and he loves the scale, the vet said he weighs himself 20 times a day. :)

Poor little kitty girl! I hope it is nothing serious. I know what it's like to panic about something that might be harmless ... I am forever doing it with my furkids. Hate to see what I'd be like with "bald kids"

Its 5:06 am, And I am awake keeping an eye on Princess. Her blister has gone down some YAY! It is still sore for her. She gets her meds. in 3 hours. I am glad I can go to sleep now. She is sleeping curled up on the towels in the bathroom, she normally is NOT allowed there. But this time its an exception;) lol.
