Obsession over deoderant?

:o This is really embarrassing, but here goes.

A few weeks ago, Mark's deoderant crumbled a little sending little pieces of deoderant flying over the floor. Before we could get to them, Malone beat us to it, and started rolling in it (like he would some nasty item out in the lawn). Ever since then he will do ANYTHING to get deoderent.

Now he doesn't just raid the hamper for the top item. No. He rummages until he can find a shirt with traces of deoderant on them. I caught him yesterday licking (note: licking, and not his usual chewing) a shirt that came from the bottom of the hamper.

And now he has started on something. If I go to pet him, he will snuffle under my arm. I tell him "NO!" and he goes right back to it. I push him away, and it just gets him all giddy and thinks it is a game. Ugggh. I'm just waiting for the day when we have company over and Malone starts to sniff their pits. :o:o:o

Riley loves to lick me when I am in the tub. He lays outside the bathroom, but as soon as I start washing my hair, he's right there trying to lick the shampoo off!!!!

Sounds like something mine would do. I know both of mine won't leave me alone when I have just put hand lotion on or chapstick on my lips. Tasha does the occasional crotch sniffing sometimes.. more to David than to me :o.

That is hilarious though.. I can just see big Malone shoving that muzzle under some unsuspecting guest's armpits LOL. I'm sure it wouldn't be funny for you though! At least not at the moment it happened.

Boy, this thread makes me glad that I have cats! Yikes. Good luck Cookiebaker. You have your work cut out for you. Maybe you could give Malone a toy with deodorant on it....I would go to the health food store and buy him an organic/natural deodorant, although he probably wouldn't like the natural kind - not enough chemicals!

walter does this as well, he will just gets his long nose under my pits and smell and lick away, and it is almost impossible to push him away.
