My dearest Chello,
It just broke my heart in pieces--first to see such a dear, sweet face on my creen, but then to learn of yiur passing--it just brought me to tears. :(
But I know that wherever you are now, you are absolutely receiving all of the love the universe has to offer, as you truly have been one special, loving kitty! And your "humans" will ALWAYS know that and keep you in their hears forever. They spoke of you so highlu that I, too, wish that I could have known you and enjoyed scritching that sweet little fluff of fur under your chin. My kitties also know the joys of a good warm lap to nestle on, as well!

;)
What a special little gentleman you were, and shall continue to be, as you have surely lived a charmed life with adoring "Cat-Parents" who loved you so much, and will now have you living on in infamamy as a one~of~a~kind, Cat~of~The~Day EXTRAORDINAIRE!!! We love you very much!! Enjoy hopping amongst the clouds and maybe meeting my passed kitties, Minka, Mishka, Papillon, Sabrina and Rusty, enjoying the tastiest of treats that your heart desires!!
Blessings, to you and those you've left behind (who shall never forget you!)

Chello, you were such a handsome guy, and so loved by your family..you leave behind memories that will keep them warm for years while you chase butterflies with the angels. Here's a little poem for your purrsons - we thank them for sharing your story

Little Ghost Cat
Your footsteps pit-pat
In the hallway of my mind
The kiss of air, whisper-soft purr;
I hear the echos of your purr,
See your bounding shadow everywhere...
And smile through my tears...author unknown

Dearest Chello. How sweetly you pose for your photo, handsome boy. I couldn't help but shed some tears as I looked upon your precious face; you remind me so much of my RB girl Chessa, who passed at the age of 15. What a sweet and gentle-manly kitty you were. The love you feel for you family, your gentle spirit, shines so warmly from your beautiful amber eyes. It hurts me so to know that you have left for the Rainbow Bridge, sweetheart. But oh, what an everlasting love and what precious memories you have left behind in the hearts of your loving family. How I would have loved to have been the lucky receipient of those thank you purrrs, sweet, warm leg wraps and loving lap sessions. I know how much your Mommy and Daddy and your furry siblings Cassy the Cat and Niwa the Bearded Collie miss their beautiful boy. But now you have a most important job to do furangel Chello; to watch over them lovingly from above and comfort them in their times of sadness from the beauty of the Rainbow Bridge until that wonderful day when you all will be together once more. Thank you so much, family of Chello for sharing your beautiful, beloved Chello with us. We are honored to have him as our very special Sunday Cat of the Day...your Cat of a Lifetime. Love, Sandra

Awww, sweet kitty. What a wonderful cat you were and what loving parents you had. I know that you will be waiting patiently to be reunited. While you wait, look a big Mamalade cat named Red Kat. Tell him I miss him and love him. He will be your friend while you and he wait. He too was a kind soul.

Dear Chello,

My KatMa is still crying after reading about you. You were very much like her most darling, purr~ecious Tiggy (whom Katma called "The Best Cat in the Universe"). He, like you, lived for 15 years. He came to live with KatMa when he was 5 weeks old.

We understand exactly how much you are missed by Cassy the Cat and Niwa the Bearded Collie and your purrsons who have loved you for fifteen years and will love you all the days of their lives.

Like our RB Tiggy, your skill in Cat-onese meant you had a large vocabulary and vocal range. You most likely, like darling Tiggy, were one of the very best doctors in the universe -- always able to comfort the humans when they were ill. Like all wonderful pet companions who are truly precious gems, you, Chello will never be forgotten.

KatMa is still crying; she misses her Tiggy, Paddy Paws, Princess, Bobby the dog, and every pet who has blessed her life by sharing theirs with her. When KatMa was born (imagine this! over 50 years ago...) the resident cat of the Palace, Skeezix taught my KatMa how precious animal life is -- and how blessed humans are that we share our lives with them.

We hope you are playing with all of our darlings in Rainbow Bridge; one day we shall all be together.

Mew, even though I am Sasha, the Queen, let me honour you, dear Chello, with a pussycat bow.

Chello,
You are sorely missed here on earth, as one can tell from your lovely tribute as COTD. You had the face of an Angel, and a purrsonality to match. I imagine you are one of the finest playing happily at the RB. RIP.

Thank you very much for sharing your memories of your beloved Chello with us. He was so cherished and cared for that I know he will always live on in your heart. How wonderful it must have been to cuddle him on your lap and feel his lovely soft warm fur. I know you miss your daily “catversations.” Thank you for being willing to learn from Chello to cherish life and love animals. Please share a special day in his memory with Cassy and Niva.

It is so sad to read about such a beautiful kitty who has gone to the Bridge. We share your heartache in missing such a special kitty. I believe that Cassy and Niwa realize that their friend Chello has gone on and miss him too. Your writing shows how much Chello was loved and will always be remembered. It is a privilege to meet Chello today.
