Lily: baby moments... (photos)

Lily will be 8 months old next week, but several times a day, she's still turning into a baby (and Luna is still a good and loving mommy to her). Look here: :)

Yes, they are! :) And the special thing is, Luna isn't her real mommy, she's a three year old spayed female that never had babies. :)

However, I find it so funny to see that big girl suckling! :D

The Lily baby is so happy that she did not only get a human meowmie but was also adopted by Luna. And for Luna she is just the baby she couldn't get - it's so heartwarming to see them together:)

I know, Pouncer's the same way too. Last night I caught Allen babying him.

Allen was licking so fast that my camera only caught his face as a blur. Allen is like Luna, a 3 year old neutered male who never had kittens of his own. He has taken so well to Pouncer and vice versa.

It melts your heart to see such moments of sweetness and uninhibited love for each other.... have I ever mention that I abolutely love my cats?

Oh yes, she's really big now, even though she still seems to be a little one, compared to Luna. But Luna is a very big girl anyway! :)

Luna is getting sooo big, but she is still adorable. With real mothers and their kittens, the mother eventually gets tired of them feeding on her and she starts pushing them away. I hope this never happens with Luna. But the way the pics look is she is completely content to have Lily suckling her. What sweeties. :D

Lily is getting big. However, I am happy to hear that Luna and her are still getting along so well.:)

So true! Lily's brother Baghira isn't that lucky! He still lives with his mom, and she cannot stand having him around now. She's very nasty to him most of the time. Now the dogs let him suckle instead! :)
