Well that's not strictly true because I blame Lucy for chasing the fly and knocking my JD & coke off the table and on to my new cream carpet! (Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it). I know it's not important in the grand scheme of things but has anyone got any advice on how to get the stain out. Have tried Vanish twice but it's still there. I guess to save future mishaps I could always find Lulu a new home?! No? Oh... Ok then. HELP!!
Have you ever tried Oxy Clean? They sell it at grocery stores and drug stores. I swear by that stuff. It has gotten many stains off my carpet that nothing else could. I found the trick is letting the Oxy Clean sit on the stain for awhile before you scrub it off.

I've heard raves about a product called "Wine Away", too, although I haven't tried it on JD & soda. It's available here at liquor stores and some drugstores. Lots of luck! (I have cream colored carpets, too, and it's a disaster in a cat household! Or even a clumsy-as-me human household, come to think of it! :o :p )

Ok, have you tried Gonzo Stain Remover? I found it in my local Home Depot carpet or cleaning section. It has gotten everything out from mustard to dried-on red paint, and yes, even cola (we are non-drinkers here so I son't know about the other ingerdient! LOL.) I have at least 4 bottles on hand for anything! Once my dad saw me use it and he ran right out to Home Depot and bought himself a few bottles!
It comes in a white bottle with a red lid. Its not something advertised, but I swear by it.
