Hello all,

I want to thank the members that recommended this board to me. It is great.

I am a transport coordinator in Rochester, NY. I coordinate transports for animals in kill shelters so that they can get to rescue groups. I work with several different groups. I primarily transport through OH, NY, PA, VT, MA, etc. but it varies week to week.

I'll post my transports here in case any of you wish to drive.

Welcome! What animals do you call your own? My pet is Miss Hoppy, or should I say the animal with whom we share the house - never sure which of us is whose pet sometimes - anyway, she's the bunny in my avatar. We're in Newton, near Boston and several major highways, if we could help.

I have the following pets of my own.

4 leukemia positive cats - rescued of course
an iguana
a gold cap conure
a great dane
a horse
fish
2 snakes

and my boxer who is really my parent's dog but I convinced them to adopt her and I love her like she is mine :)

Are most of the people here involved in rescue is some way?

Well, you know I am!!! lol I would say, yes, that most people are at the very least, INTERESTED, in rescue. We had 3 Pet Talkers help with the transport of a friend of mine's 3 Coonhounds....does that help? ;) I DIDN'T know that you had such a menagerie.:)
