Pouncer was neutered yesterday and despite the vet's warning that he'd be quiet and lethargic for the next few days, he played as normal (with us monitoring him to ensure he didn't jump or twist, etc.)
Poor Pouncer finally decided to let up the act of feeling a-ok... he decided to let us know he was really feeling quite rotten. Around 7:00 he came to me and begged to be held and was shivering so I wrapped him up in a blanket. My sister-in-law is a nurse and says its quite common for someone to be very cold after they've had anesthesia. He sat like this for hours:

Then he woke form his nap and decided to brave feeling good again. Which of course meant checking out the spread in the dining room! My friend came into the livingroom asking if our cat was allowed to eat cake. Both my husband and I asked, "which one? Big guy or little guy?" As if it mattered, because the answer would be NO for either!! It turned out to be our little sickie and he looked at us with "it wasn't me" pasted all over his face... that is, if you overlook the powdered sugar on his lips!:D :D :D Oh, by the way, the vet warned us to not let him eat anything out of the ordinary so we wouldn't upset his sensitive tummy. I guess she forgot to warn him.
By the way: Happy happy New Year!!!!:)
