I have an American shorthair "cameo spotted tabby" which resembles Sandy quite a lot. His registered name is Calla's Man in the Moon. His color is less yellow, less orange than that usually seen. He is a soft tan and cream stripe with butterscotch eyes. What caught my attention is that Sandy retrieves, and my cat does also, up to fifteen minutes in succession. He can also catch a flying fake mouse between his two front feet, standing on his rear feet. Everyone remarks that they have never seen a cat retrieve, and I thought that the physical resemblance as well as the shared instinct was pretty remarkable.
