Congratulations, Ms. Elvira, on being COTD! You are a beautiful, regal-looking lady, and, by virtue of your years alone, have earned my respect and admiration. Hisses to your first people (anyone who would abandon a pet deserves to be scratched), but purrs to the family you chose. It sounds like you made a much better choice than the one that was made for you initially.

Elvira, we love to see that a senior kitty like you can be so elegant, so lady-like. You are our star today and we wish you many healthy years to come:)

You are truly a regal looking lady kitty. It's really wonderful when cats live a long time.
You're just telling your Meowmie that things like bills and your house deed should be in a safe place!:p

18+ years and doing so well - such good news! And you obviously have a loving home NOW! I cannot believe someone would allow you out on such a high balcony and then leave you behind - so glad your purrsons kept you and appreciate your talents! Catgratulations, Elivra...we hope you have many, many years of happiness still ahead!

Elvira, how wonderful that you now have a loving home, and are appreciated for the spry qualities you still retain at your ripe, old age! Wow . . . I don't think my elderly lady Lily would even contemplate (much less, execute) a leap onto the refrigerator! Good for you! But your meowmy is wise to intercede, since 'tis better to be safe than sorry! ;) Wishing you many more years of health and happiness, darling! :)

Goodness! What a character you are, Elvira! Shredding paper to let your mistress know you're hungry and having a chat with your mousie after you've killed it and presented to you mum.
It was fate that brought you to such a loving home. Congratulations, sweet girl, on being today's cat of the day!!

Hi gorgeous Elvira.:) I'm so glad to hear that you were rescued by your wonderful neighbor and now have a loving forever home.:) It's also great to hear that although you're a senior kitty, you're still healthy and quite active. Congrats on being COTD!!!:D

What a great kitty. By her looks and description one could never guess her age. Lucky for her that all but a bit of her life has been so happy.
