PM's people PLEASE!! I've tried to keep my mouth shut, but this arguing is making me sad. Much of what has been written I don't believe is necessary for EVERYONE on PT to read. I would be so hurt if someone posted that about me for everyone to see. I understand if these things need to be said, but I think it's a good time to use the PM feature.

I know, and because I like you, I WANT to respect your comment. But, this has gone on tooooooo long. Anyone besides Kay would be hurt by these comments...adjust themselves, and QUIT acting like this. When I realize she has used profanity, said evil comments, downgraded people that I consider friends, I just can't let it rest.

Some animals have a reflective layer on their retinas that kind of mirrors the backs of their eyes. People don't have it. But the flash of a camera is so bright that you can see the reflection of the retina, and the red is the colour of the blood vessels. I can't remember, but the pupil having to dilate really quickly also causes the eyes to look significantly red.

My new digital has a special 'red eye' flash on it that puts off a couple of flashes to make your pupil get smaller which reduces the amount of red eye showing up in the picture;) Maybe your camera has something like that:)

I have a special flash on the camera that's supposed to help get rid of it, but I didn't take those pics with that flash;) I haven't really expieremented with it yet:)
