I posted this in Cat General and probably should have gone here first.
I have a 2-3 year old spayed female, blue and white cat that needs a home. She is current on all of her vaccinations and she is generally healthy. She came from a feral colony at my job, but she is very friendly and playful, so she apparently didn't belong with the colony. I took her in hoping to put her through a rescue group, but she can't go through any groups for liability reasons and of course any shelters would euthanize her and that's not an option. Cats with FIV/FeLeuk sometimes don't live as long as most cats, but with the proper care she can have a meaningful and happy life for quite some time. She needs to go to a home as either the only cat or with another cat with her same condition. I live in the Houston, Texas area and would like her to go to a home within close proximity (example: Dallas being the furthest I'll go) because I'll be driving her. There is an application and adoption fee. If at ANY time for ANY reason the home doesn't work out, I'll take the cat back. This poor girl spent her first couple of years scrounging for food and having babies, which have been rescued and placed into new homes. Now it's her turn for a better life.
Anyone interested can email me.
