I just got finished babysitting some dobermans for a friend of mine. They were the best dobermans I've ever taken care of. I'm in love *sigh*
There was 4 year old Bergerac who is a total doofus.
And then there was 12 year old Purdy who is as sweet as they come. Here are some pics. (I know the eyes look a little weird in some of them because I had to fix the awful flash eyes. Trust me though that they look better than they did) :)

Here is crazy Bergerac. We were playing the "hand biting game" LOL I was "grabbing" gently at his mouth and he was getting all crazy and biting the air.

On my last day there I was cleaning the floors, so I threw the dog beds up on top of the bed. Of course they immediately took advantage of that situation.

Shelteez2,
You are making me want another Doberman, I owned one for about 14 years, she was the best dog I ever had and the smartest. I wish you could have met her. I hope you don't mind if I tell you about her. Her name was Pax. She was the most sensitive dog I had ever seen, it just seem like she sensed everything, and I mean if you were sad, she was trying to comfort you.

Somebody gave me a little runt pig and I had to bottle feed it, and anyway he would get down, and be so cold I thought he was dead, know what? Pax would lick that little pig until she got it warmed up and he was back on his feet again. (I kept this little pig in the house in a box) But it seem like Arnold the pig, had a lot of problems, but Pax would take care of him. God those pics so brought back the memories.

I could tell you so much about that dog, you would not believe some of the things she done. Oh I wish I had another Doberman.

Thank you for posting these Pics, it brought back so many memories.:)

Here is one pic of her, this is such a long time ago, and it is not a very good pic of her. Please take a look at her. She was wonderful.

Oh I love those pictures of yours.:)

They look as sweet as you describe them. My sister had a dobe for many years and loved him dearly. I have heard what sensitive and sweet dogs they are with proper breeding and environment. Beautiful dogs :)

Such beautiful dogs! I transported a dog that was so sweet. I think he was mostly Doberman. I've attached his pic as well. This was one I really wanted to bring home with me.

Me too, GSDgurl, love the black ones, Colby is a beautiful dobie, as big as he is now, lord know how big he is going to be. Best dog I ever owned was the dobie in the pic, sensitive, funny back when I got her, everybody was saying ' You better not get a Doberman, they will turn on you", big dummies just didn't know what they were talking about. True she was very protective of me, but turning on me? Never! She is at Rainbow Bridge now, I sure do miss her, and she has been gone about 6 or seven years. Now I got that Rottie, and she is okay, but not at all like Pax. Like I said, one of these days......, I love the breed, they will sure take care of you, and their family. Oh the stories I could tell you about Pax. Wonderful breeds they are, you are a very lucky girl, you have yourself a bodyguard and a friend.:)
