Adoption day snowed out

:( Our big Christmas adoption day event was snowed out today. Poor kittens are going to miss their big chance to capture someone's heart today.

But on the bright side, one determined family drove 1 hour 45 minutes to my home to meet the kittens and they took Betty boop home with them. :)

I have another family coming to see Snagglepuss later.

AND

I have an e-mail opf interest in Timmy.

So today might go well after all. But no Santa Paws pictures :( unless we can rescedule for our "off" sunday.

Yeah! Betty Boop found a home.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Snagglepuss and pray that email turns into more for little Timmy.

Aw, that's disappointing. Not a total loss, though. Congrats
to Betty Boop. Boy, that family must really love her to drive so
far.:) Good luck to the other two also.:) Any chance that the
Adoption Day event can be rescheduled?

Oh! How awful that it got cancelled but how wonderful for Betty Boop!! That is a family that really wanted that cute little girl!! It sounds promising for Snagglepus and we are still praying for that WONDERFUL home for Timmy. I would take Timmy in a minute if I could. Poor Baby!! (I'm glad my husband didn't see that comment!)
Hang on Timmy I just know that your wonderful forever home is right around the corner!!!
I just want to say thanks Jen for all you do. Where would kitties like Timmy be without you???

I am sorry to hear that you were snowed out.

However, it was not a total bust. I am very happy to hear about Betty Boop.

Good thing I didn't brave the weather!

Its wonderful that someone was so determined to give Betty Boop a new home! If they drove that long in such yucky weather, then they truly want her and will make a great home for her.

Tell Timmy that he better put his best paw forward when he meets his future parents!

Your heart must be full seeing some of your fosters finally finding homes. I'm truly sorry that the big Christnas event was snowed out. Many more could have found homes. But they all will eventually!

Our Santa Paws photos and adoption day will be rescheduled for Dec 21st, so the cats still have a chance before Christmas. :)
(this is our opposite Sunday, but Petco gave us the time frame :D)

Aw Jen, you mean I have another chance to be really geeky in front of the kids? They think I'm absolutely nuts to get the animals picture taken with Santa! I think I'll do it just to be the biggest "dork" in the world (thier word, not mine)

If being a good and loving pet mommy means that I have a moniker such as 'dork' and 'geek' attached to my name, then so be it!!!:)
