Annie is training for the Olympics. I mean, she must be. She starts in the front room with a jump from the couch - races down the hallway into my bedroom - plunk on the bed - jumps off and continues into the next room.

Stops - checks stopwatch - 3.2 seconds - gotta do better than that.....

And then she takes the course in reverse.

over and over again at 6:15 AM

Annie, I think you're just showing your mom how happy you are to live with her, aren't you. :D

What IS it with cats around 5 - 6 AM?? Just when we're sleeping our best, they have to tell us we should join in.

Gini, I wish you days with a good long sleep over the holidays!! ;) BUT .... remember to be ready for Phreds NEW YEARS EVE party!! Do you think he's in the process of rebuilding?? :D

We ought to go to the BAR and give him a drink on the house!!

lol, how cute!:D Well, good luck to her, I'm sure she'll make it;)

Kind of what Blueberry does. he sometimes runs really really fast up the stairs, makes a very quick turn into my bathroom, and stares at me for two seconds. Then runs down the stairs again, lol:p

For some reason Eddie does his wind sprints in the late afternoon....immediately after turkey time.

Perhaps in California they must do the practice early in the morning before it gets too hot?

Joey does that sometimes. She'll just decide that it is time to run and she does her sprints.:) I think that she is just keeping in shape.

Every once in a while Bob does. Joey helps the Bob sometimes by coaxing him into a game of chase.:D

I don't know if they do it early in the morning, I am a heavy sleeper thank god.;)

LOL Gini :D
I think that my Storm has also been in training for them too. In the morning and evening, he's been jumping off my bed and racing down the hallway like a speeding bullet and then running back to my bed as fast as he can.:) He just finished his evening run a few minutes ago. It's hard to believe that he'll be 8 years old in January. I think he's trying to stay in shape so he can keep up with his younger brothers. :)

Mine do their "wind sprints" in the evening when I get home from work, although last night they did it again when I came in from an evening with friends around 10:00 p.m. Mornings are for making as much noise as possible so mom will get up and feed them. This morning it was Mitzi knocking stuff off the nightstand and then Mishi walking on my face  It was 6:00 a.m.! I wanted to sleep in! Kids!
