Siuox is a talent in many things. But I have to tell you about the most incredible one he has done. Actually, it was his birthday present for me.
Sioux also wanted to give me a present. As he was sitting on the balcony that morning, where he watches the world outside, he CAUGHT A BIRD!!!!! He is so good at catching flies and now I know he is good at this too! I saw him when he did that because I happened to be standing there-behing the balcony window! Wow! I was shocked! He just jumped and had a bird in his mouth! I opened the door to yell at him and he ran right inside the flat with the live sparrow in his mouth! He was growling and looking for a place to enjoy his pray. Of course, I immediately showed him I didn't like it at all and somehow got him back on the balcony. He was just holding onto his pray and growled. I wasn't sure what to do because I had to go to work and Sioux had to go back inside but not with the bird. Plus, I didn't want him to eat the bird.
Luckily, somehow the bird escaped. I took Siux in immediately. He was angry and wanted to go out. I think the bird died because there were many feathers left behind.

So, this was supposed to be a present from my wild boy, and I didn't appreciate it. But I have to say it was very amazing!

I'm sure you have some adventures like that too.

I haven't mentioned that Siuox is an indoor cat only. We got him when he was 2 months. That's why it is surprising when he does something like that. ;-)))

Welcome Mougi:

My cat has been doing something interesting also. When I,m at home and have to sit down, she sees me coming toward the couch where I sit and waits for me.

I also have a Siamese who one time meowed into a cordless phone when I had to lay it down.

Sioux I see in the picture that you know your prey is in the fridge!
I have never heard of an indoor kitty catching birds on the balcony. Here we have a net around the balcony so Filou and Tigris can't fall of. And they only see the birds from a distance:(

What a sweet looking boy! My cats only have a screened in balcony to sit out in and watch the birds. they are indoor cats also. Romeo is a pro at catching and eating the occasional bug that sneaks in. mosquitoes (sp?) are his favorite ,a few times when they got in, and were jumping around on the t.v.screen, Romeo catches them, and eats them!
